Barcelona to Ripoll to Olot
You'll arrive by train from Barcelona to Ripoll, nestled in the Pyrenees foothills. After getting your bike set up and catching the tour briefing, you'll cycle about 40km over the Coll de Santigosa mountain pass to reach Olot. It's a solid introduction to the region with some good elevation gain.

Olot to Girona
Today you're cycling the Carrilet, which is a converted railway line running from Olot to Girona. The route takes you through the volcanic landscape of La Garrotxa, and you'll cover roughly 60km. The terrain here is really nice since the old railway bed keeps grades manageable.

Girona
You'll ride one of Girona's classic road routes, covering about 80km. This is the route that shows why so many cyclists base themselves here. You'll get a feel for the terrain and roads that make this region popular with road riders.

Girona to Baix Emporda
Starting with a climb over Els Angels mountain, you'll then ride through the Medieval Villages of Baix Emporda. The 60km route ends in a hilltop village where you're staying. Expect some ups and downs as you work through these charming settlements.

Baix Emporda
You'll explore more Medieval Villages in the Baix Emporda area today, covering about 70km. Lunch happens in a seaside village, so you'll get that nice coastal break in the middle of the ride. The terrain continues to be rolling with character.

Baix Emporda to Costa Brava
Today's a shorter ride at about 30km, taking you along the Costa Brava coast using the Baix Emporda cycle network. You'll finish in a seaside town where you're staying, so it's a nice way to wrap up the riding portion with some coastal views.

Landmarks Costa Brava - Day 7
Costa Brava
You're cycling the classic coastal out and back route that was used for a 2009 Tour de France stage between Girona and Barcelona. It's about 55km and gives you a real taste of why this area matters in cycling history.

Costa Brava to Barcelona
Your tour ends with a direct bus departure from Sant Feliu de Guixols bus station heading back to Barcelona. You'll have time to pack up and head to the station for your return.
