Each city’s guide brought local history to life, from Mandawa murals to Jodhpur towering fort. Hotels were all mid-range, safe, and clean. Camel rides in the dunes and boat rides in Udaipur created unforgettable memories. Ending with a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal was the perfect finale. Hotels were clean and comfortable, and had hot showers everywhere. Highlights include the desert camp in Jaisalmer, the stunning Ranakpur temples, and of course, the Taj Mahal. From the colorful bazaars in Jaipur to the spiritual aura of Pushkar, it was all incredible. Guides were polite and informative. Our driver drove very safely and knew every shortcut. Hotels were tidy and often located close to major attractions. The heritage architecture in Udaipur and the history at Chittorgarh Fort really stood out. Every day felt different and exciting.
