Itinerary
- Day 1
Portland to Newport
You'll meet up in Portland and get shuttled to Newport where the coastal bike adventure kicks off. From there, you're heading south on the Oregon Coast Bike Route with the ocean right there the whole time. You'll pass dramatic sea stacks and if you're lucky catch some wildlife along the way. The route takes you through a few coastal villages where you can grab pie or ice cream to refuel before continuing on.

- Day 2
Newport to Bandon
The ride continues south along the coast, moving through forests and open beaches. You get to pick your pace here—there's a longer route with more out-and-back sections if you want extra miles, or a shorter more direct option. Either way you'll ride through sand dunes and pass by lighthouses before wrapping up at Sunset Oceanfront Lodge in Bandon.

- Day 3
Bandon to Gold Beach
A shuttle takes you south to Cape Blanco, Oregon's westernmost point, and then you start riding the Wild Rivers Coast Scenic Bikeway. The route follows the Elk River on quiet roads where you'll find swimming holes and watch for wildlife. By the end of the day you're in Gold Beach, a sport fishing town known for good weather and beaches that aren't crowded.

- Day 4
Gold Beach to Crescent City
You're tackling 56 miles south along the wild coast to Crescent City, California. There's a beach picnic stop at Crissey Field between California and the Winchuck River. After that you'll check out the old growth redwoods in Jedediah Smith State Park before arriving at Morrison's Rogue River Lodge for the night.

Crescent City - Rogue River
This morning is yours to use however you want—take an optional riverside ride if it appeals to you, or just hang out and relax. After lunch there's an included scenic raft trip through the Rogue River gorges with views of the old-growth forest (or you can do an inflatable kayak instead). Later you'll shuttle to Diamond Lake Resort where you'll spend two nights near Crater Lake.

- Day 6
Diamond Lake - Crater Lake Rim
You're cycling around Crater Lake's rim on traffic-free roads, which ranks among the most memorable bike routes you can do. In the morning you'll join the Ride the Rim Oregon group event. Come afternoon, you can head down to the lakeshore to walk around or tackle the hike up to Garfield Peak for views across the lake and mountains.

- Day 7
Diamond Lake to Roseburg
Starting from Diamond Lake, you're descending over 6,000 feet across 60 miles heading north. The road follows the North Umpqua River past waterfalls and through evergreen forests, and then opens into the farmlands of central Oregon. You'll see where the North Umpqua and Little River meet in Glide before finishing the day in Roseburg.

Roseburg to Eugene or Portland
You're riding through Winchester Wine Country with rolling hills and farm scenery. There's a creekside picnic lunch in the shade to break things up midday. After that you'll shuttle north to your final drop-off, which can be either Eugene or Portland depending on where you want to end things.
