  Our driver Mr Vimal was kind, helpful, professional, sweet and very careful and his English was top-notch. The tour in general was great and very well organized. The hotels were all great and the guides well informed and helpful. We also had 2 cookery lessons, and in both cases they offered us an amazing experience.

  We were very happy with this tour. Our tour guide, Mukesh, and driver, Mr. Subhesh took very good care of us. Mukesh taught us so much about each place we visited. We appreciated his knowledge of each monument and the stories behind them. He answered any and all questions. My only suggestion is that India is cool in December when we traveled and we wish we would have brought warmer clothes.

  Good organised. Some guides were ok and some better. 1) Delhi : Really good experience with the guide ,lots of information shared. We would have liked that Akshardham temple is included and Jama Mashid is excluded. 2) Jaipur : Could had recommended to take a flight as the whole day was just travelling due to traffic conditions, partly we delayed but the route was exhausting and was just a trip in car. Jaipur guide was again excellent and informative where needed. We saw palaces, had good food and a nice tour around Jaipur. We also managed to do more things which really appreciated. 3) Ranthambore : Nature lovers would see this as a highlight of the entire tour. In General everything worked out but we found missing details like a) exact timings/schedule of the Safari. b) Organisation of breakfast as it collided with the morning Safari as it starts at 7 but we were picked up at 5:30 in the morning .( We were lucky that our safari ended early and we were in time for breakfast) We saw lots of animals, luckily the tigress Noor and a leopard on the hunt. 4) Fatepur Sikri : The guide rushed through the small tour and was not so keen on giving details. 5) Agra : Guide was excellent. We had lots of detailed mini tours of Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Baby Taj and we still had time at all these places too. No rushing. We also got the opportunity to see a short presentation of marble work. 6)Vrindavan: on the way to Delhi we also visited vrindawan and here the guide was a bit disappointing as he gave talked not so good English and not a lot of details. This was 90 min tour though. We had through all this a very experienced driver and keen to help and when asked on some recommendations he could give quality recommendations on restaurants, places General comments :

  I booked the tour 2 days before I arrived in India so I'm very thankful that they could organise the trip in that small space of time. In the end I was on the Tour on my own, which turned out perfectly. I had my own driver Vimal who was brilliant, very helpful and took me anywhere I wanted to go but the trip was all organized for me so I had to do very little apart from get in the car at the right time. I have my own business so I used the traveling time to catch up on some work especially because I was on the tour on my own. The guides were great and had some much information. I also got to see a sloth bear and a tiger on the safari which blow my mind. Hotels were good overall apart from the hotel in Agra. (i didn't like that ones as much)

  Excellent tour. Well organised in good rooms Any issues, MTA were always on hand to provide support. Drivers, guides, support staff were all excellent and happy to assist. The tigers, Taj and attractions kind of look after themselves :-) and all were as expected. A thoroughly enjoyable and worthwhile tour I would definitely use them again.

  Overall a good tour with excellent guide but let down by the Ranthambore guide, was not available (saw him once) and left us with the safaris that no one else wanted. Would not use again.

  Overall the tour was ok, but there were some major sticking points that didn't leave us with great impression. Below are in order of severity 1) the biggest issue was that 2 of the hotels that we were told were booked were replaced by 2 inferior hotels. There was no communication about the change until we rocked up at one of the other hotels. The messages on tour radar clearly read "these have been booked" , but I was told that this only meant they were going to instruct their staff to book these, and that they must've had issues with availability. Upon complaining the 2nd hotel switch was reverted back to the original hotel after we debated whether the hotels were equivalent (not so according to the review scores I read), so i'll give credit to the manager (Manish) there. However, we saw the original hotel was almost empty when we stayed, so clearly it had no problem with availability. So obviously the excuse of changing the hotel last min because of availability doesn't fly. 2) our first day of tour coincided with india national day holiday. When we booked we were not told that some of the sites and roads would be closed. I ended up prompting the manager after realising there would be large impacts after arriving in Delhi. We should've been advised of this, or at best, our tour dates should not have been available. We ended up missing out on Ghandi's tomb visit, and couldn't get anywhere close to Parliament House, the President’s House and India Gate. We also had to take the metro with our guide instead of the pre-arranged driver. The metro ride took much longer, required some extensive walking, and was a case of sardines on some legs. When i complained about missing out on sites i was told we could do them the last day of the tour when we arrive back in Delhi, however there was no follow up on these promises 3) kalakho village tour is NOT worth it. The only activity was being taken to a village just 5 min behind the hotel off a dirt road to watch the villages make chipati. Whole visit took 30 minutes. The rest of the day we just lounged around the hotel since theres nothing to do in the surrounds. The Umeid Lake Palace hotel was also not great. -our room lost power at least 5 times for spans of around 10-30 minutes each. When we finally complained and got it fixed they explained it was a wiring problem -doors are locked with a latch and massive industrial size padlocks. These padlocks are so big that theres little clearance to actually stick your key in there to lock & unlock. This also means you can be locked in your room if someone decides to pull the latch across. Not great if theres a fire. Rooms are also a little cold and foreboding 4) Fatehpur Sikri - we were assigned a site tour guide for this place, and it seems all the local guides are in on a scam involving pressuring guests to donate money to the mosque within the complex for scattering flower petals over a piece of cloth. You can read more about this online if you search for Fatehpur Sikri and scams on tripadvisor. I'm guessing the guides get kick backs from this scam. Although the guide is not part of MTA, i'm sure they are aware of this operation and should've warned us before hand. Another friend of mine went with a different tour operator and they didn't even use the local guides as this scam is common knowledge 5) only provided with one small bottle of water each, when it should've been two bottles. We also didn't see our driver every day so no bottles at all those days. May seem like a small thing, but when theres no shops close by some of the hotels and you're advised to even brush your teeth with filered water then it does become important!

  We had a wonderful 8 days with MTA -tour radar. We enjoyed our kind driver Manu who tried to accommodate our every wish - while managing to drive the busy crazy streets of India. Each guide was unique and explained the sights well. We had fun on the Jeep safaris and saw beautiful landscapes and some animals but seeing a tiger is rare. The hotels were acceptable- said 4 star but realty 3-3.5 USA saying that - the service was excellent and we were in remote places. The food was delicious- repetitive after a ew days but it’s India so Curry’s and dal! We would recommend it to anyone not wanting to be in a large group. As a credit to MTA tours we were well cared for and checked in on - often. We also enjoyed private dinner and cooking in Jaipur. We would recommend paying major tips in advance- this became awkward- with finding atms and getting small bills. Overall really fun and worthwhile!
