Xi'an Airport to Xi'an
Your private guide and driver will be waiting at Xi'an Airport with a welcome sign when you arrive. On the drive into the city, you'll make a stop at Han Yang Ling Mausoleum to see where a Western Han Dynasty emperor and empress were buried. It's a good way to start getting a feel for the region's history before heading to your hotel downtown to settle in.

- Day 2
Xi'an
The day starts at the Terracotta Army Museum where you'll see thousands of life-sized pottery warriors arranged in battle formation. After grabbing lunch, you'll visit the home of the person who discovered the first terracotta warrior, then try making your own miniature clay warriors at a traditional cave dwelling workshop. Later in the afternoon, you'll head to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda from the Tang Dynasty and walk through the Great Tang All Day Mall, a 1500-meter sculpture street that shows off Tang Dynasty culture and art.

Xi'an to Departure
Start by checking out the City Wall Remains Museum, then climb onto the ancient City Wall itself for views of the whole city and to watch people enjoying their time at the City Wall Park below. If you're interested, you can rent a bike and ride along the wall. Next you'll visit the Great Mosque, which mixes Chinese and Islamic architectural styles beautifully, and explore the Muslim Quarter nearby for lunch with lots of local food options. After that, your driver takes you to the airport for your departure flight.
