    Beijing Arrival

    Your private guide and driver pick you up at Beijing airport and take you to your hotel. From there, the rest of the day is open for you to settle in and recover from travel.

  2. Day 2

    Beijing

    Start at Tiananmen Square, then walk through the Forbidden City to see the royal palaces and cultural artifacts. Grab a welcome lunch at a local restaurant, and afterward head to Yonghe Temple and the Temple of Heaven to round out your day.

    Beijing

    Head to Mutianyu Great Wall with round-trip cable car access built in. After spending time on the wall, you'll stop at the Olympic National Stadium (Bird's Nest) on the way back downtown. Later, take a rickshaw through the ancient hutongs in Shichahai and visit a family home in a traditional courtyard.

  4. Day 4

    Beijing to Xi'an

    Morning starts at the Summer Palace. Then you'll travel by high-speed train to Xi'an, which takes about 5 hours. During the ride, you can relax and take in the countryside views. Once you arrive, your guide meets you at the station and brings you to your hotel.

  5. Day 5

    Xi'an

    After breakfast, you'll see the Terracotta Army, created over 2,200 years ago. Next, visit the home of the man who first discovered it and work with a local artisan to make your own small clay warrior. In the afternoon, check out the Provincial History Museum. If you're interested, the Great Tang All Day Mall has a two-kilometer street dedicated to Tang Dynasty culture and opens in the evening.

    Xi'an to Guilin

    Start your morning at City Wall Park watching locals sing, dance, and play chess. Then walk the well-preserved City Wall itself, or rent a bicycle to ride along the top for city views (cost is separate). After that, visit the Great Mosque and spend time in the Muslim bazaar for lunch and souvenirs. Before heading to the airport, stop at Han Yang Ling Museum, then fly to Guilin and check into your hotel.

    Guilin to Yangshuo

    Board a cruise on the Li River at 9:00 AM, arriving in Yangshuo around 2:00 PM. The scenery along the river is remarkable. Once there, take a cycling tour through the countryside for about 1.5 to 2 hours to see the pastoral landscape, or arrange a car if you prefer. Later, transfer back to Guilin.

    Guilin to Shanghai

    Explore Reed Flute Cave with its stalagmites, stalactites, stone pillars, and stone formations. Then fly to Shanghai where your guide meets you at the airport. From there, head to the Bund to see the waterfront and European-style buildings. In the evening, take a Huangpu River cruise to see Shanghai's lights reflected on the water. After that, transfer to your hotel for a two-night stay.

    What can we expect when we visit a Hutong?

      The most interesting part of a Hutong tour is taking a rickshaw. You will see the Shichahai Lake, Yinding Bridge and the Bell Tower along the way. And also you can walk through the alley of Hutongs and see Beijing traditional folk houses.
