Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival
You'll land at the airport and get picked up for the ride to your hotel. After checking in, spend the rest of the day getting settled and recovering from your travel.
- Day 2
Tashkurgan
Head out on the drive toward Tashkurgan with a stop at Karakul Lake on the way. The lake sits at high altitude and offers nice views before you continue into town to explore once you arrive.

Tashkurgan to Passu via Khunjerab Pass
This is the big drive through Khunjerab Pass at 4,693 meters (15,397 feet), the world's highest overland pass. You'll stop at the China-Pakistan border for photos, pass through Sost immigration, and keep going to Passu. Watch for Ibex in the National Pakistan area along the route. Transfer to your hotel when you get there.

Passu
Spend the day around Passu checking out Passu Glacier, the Passu Suspension Bridge, and Hussaini Hot Spring which has its own suspension bridge. Head back to your hotel in the evening after seeing these spots.

Passu to Karimabad
Drive to Karimabad and stop at Attabad Lake and Gulmit village along the way. After you arrive and get to your hotel, the afternoon and evening are open for you to wander around the area on your own.

Karimabad
Walk through Karimabad and visit both Baltit Fort and Altit Fort. Browse the local bazaar for goods and local items. Later, head to Duiker in the evening to catch the sunset, then return to your hotel for the night.

Peshawar to Islamabad
