All was perfect equiped, good canoes, tents, matrasses, chairs, etc.. but about all surprisingly good and healty food too! Asked on July 31st, 2024My wife and I are avid kayakers. We have kayaked throughout the U.S. and Canada. We are in our 70s and generally kayak for 2-4 hours on flat water lakes and rivers. We don't enjoy choppy 2- or 3-foot waves at sea. Is this tour suitable for us?

The paddling conditions in our area is somewhere in between what you are describing. It's more similar to a large lake than the open sea. No currents, no tides, no big swells since the islands break up wind and waves. It can def get windy and choppy sometimes, but you and the group have lots of flexibility. It will be a lot more sheltered closer to the mainland and more exposed out towards the open sea. You'll be paddling around 3-5 hours per day, but with lots of breaks. Our tours are a lot more about experiencing beautiful nature and enjoying each other's company, than pushing long distances.

You get to repack all your personal items into dry bags at our launch, and we store your luggage and anything else you don't wish to bring with kayaking safely at our base. We bring your luggage to your end point on your last day.
