Itinerary
- Day 1
Cappadocia
You'll get picked up from Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport and drive into Cappadocia. Start the day with a hike through Rose Valley where you'll see rock-cut churches built into the landscape, then stop in Cavusin village to catch your breath. From there, head to Ortahisar Castle to check out the views and structure. In the afternoon, you'll go down into Kaymakli Underground City where early Christians actually lived below ground. The day wraps up at Pigeon Valley where you can see the landscape from a higher vantage point. There's an optional wine tasting at a local winery if that interests you. You'll spend the night in Cappadocia.

- Day 2
Cappadocia to Izmir
Leave your hotel between 09:30 and 10:00 and head to Devrent Valley to see the Fairy Chimneys scattered across the terrain. Next, you'll go to Pasabagi, also called Monk's Valley, where the rock formations have multiple stems branching out. Drive to Avanos after that and spend time learning how local potters work with red clay from the Kizilirmak River. After grabbing lunch, you'll visit Goreme Open Air Museum to walk through churches, chapels, and monasteries carved right into the Fairy Chimneys with frescoes from the 10th to 13th centuries. You'll have time to shop before heading to Kayseri Airport for your flight to Izmir, where a transfer will take you to your hotel.

- Day 3
Izmir to Ephesus
After eating breakfast at your hotel, you'll travel to Ephesus, which holds some of Europe's best-preserved Classical ruins. A guided tour takes you through the extensive site including the Temple of Hadrian where you can see the detail and scale firsthand. You'll break for lunch in the town itself. Following that, you'll visit the House of the Virgin Mary, which many believe is where Mary spent her last years. The chapel there has spiritual significance for pilgrims who make the journey. After exploring, you'll get dropped off at either Izmir Airport, your Izmir hotel, or your Kusadasi hotel depending on your plans.
