Long stages to the individual destinations but really worth it. The accommodation is great and Giang, our tour guide, was incredibly friendly, helpful and funny. He picked us up at our hotel early in the morning and took us to the bus. The first adventure was the bus ride itself, as the traffic in Vietnam is very different to that in Germany. The bus was modern, clean and air-conditioned, which was a blessing in temperatures of 36 degrees. There was plenty of water and the meals were all super tasty and so much that you could hardly manage to finish them. The tour to the waterfall on the second day was a bit lengthy as the water of the waterfall is dammed up on the Chinese side and no water is released before 11 am. We were there from 10:30 and had to wait an hour for the water. That wasn't so great in the scorching heat. All in all, however, it was a great tour, especially at the beginning of a trip to Vietnam, as you can discover the culture and some of the habits of the locals in a guided way and no longer feel quite as lost as before the tour.
