The accommodations were excellent as was the food. I cannot imagine how the safari tour could have been better. Our guide was extraordinary and we saw ALL the animals!

What an experience! We saw all the big 5 and much more! we saw hippos in Lake Manyara, we saw hyenas and lions so close up a few times, giraffes and zebra everywhere, loved the hotel in Ngorongoro Crater.. The guide was amazing, he could see animals from a mile away and was very knowledgeable. The hotels were great, we didnt want to leave. Great service overall, and the vehicles were clean and new.We felt safe just having our own private safari. Best trip ever! One tip, bring good binoculars and you can really spot the rare animals from far away.

I had a wonderful Safari! Juma Issa was the absolute best guide - professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I still can’t figure out how he spotted so many animals! He and the Safari exceeded my expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone wishing to see not just the big five but much more! Thank you and a big thank you to Juma Issa!

The chosen safari tour is available on 03 December 2023. However due to high demand, there are only few slots remaining and we would appreciate your earliest confirmation enabling us to secure all the rooms stated on the itinerary.

From early September this year, my partner and I are interested in doing an approximately 2 week Kenya/Tanzania safari, followed by a separate week to 10 days in Zanzibar. We would be looking at safari places like Masai Mara, Amboseli, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, with added places like Lake Nakuru, Lake Manyara and Tangarire. We would be interested in extra value added experiences especially witnessing tribal culture.

Accommodation wise we would prefer decent standard lodges with good food options. It doesn't have to be 5 star luxury, but clean and comfortable with en-suite facilities is required. The most important aspect of the accommodation is cool, well ventilated rooms. Ideally with air conditioning but at very least with fast, efficient ceiling fans. This is of deal-breaking importance as I have sleep apnoea and breathing issues, and will not be able to sleep well in hot, stuffy accommodation.

    • Prime SafarisOperatorWritten May 2023

We regret to inform you that the scheduled safari for 12 Nights East African Explorer are booked out already for the entire months of August and September 2023 due to high demand. Alternately, if you are flexible with the travel date we still have few slots remaining for schedule departure to start from either 08 October 2023 or 15 October 2023 with the same safari itinerary but will be based on all Serena Lodges both in Kenya and Tanzania part.

    • Prime SafarisOperatorWritten May 2023

We had arranged few guests from the past that has sleep apnoea with personal machine and all went well and had enjoyed their safari. We have checked the accommodation with Serena lodges and some rooms will definitely have either an air condition or at electric fan (ceiling/wall fan).
