Itinerary
- Day 1
Jerusalem
Start from Mt. Scopus to take in the panoramic views of Jerusalem before heading into the Old City. You'll walk through the major religious sites, stopping at the Western Wall and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. After that, follow the Via Dolorosa and trace the path of Jesus through the narrow streets. By midday, grab lunch in the Old City bazaar where you can try local food and browse through shops. Later in the afternoon, head to Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum to learn about this important historical site before the day ends.

Jericho to Bethlehem
Travel down below sea level to reach the Biblical city of Jericho near the Dead Sea. You'll see Zachaeus' sycamore tree and learn about the Battle of Jericho's history. From there, continue to Qasr al-Yahud on the Jordan River, the baptismal site where you can spend time reflecting. After lunch, head to Bethlehem and visit the Church of Nativity and Church of St. Catherine. These two churches hold significant religious importance, so you'll want to take your time exploring both before evening.

Dead Sea and Masada
Head through the Judean Hills toward the lowest point on Earth at the Dead Sea. Take a cable car up to Masada and explore King Herod's ancient palace-fortress, learning about its history and significance. On the way back down, you'll pass the Ein Gedi oasis and stop at Qumran. Later in the day, head to a Dead Sea beach where you can float in the mineral-rich water and relax after all the walking and sightseeing you've done.

Golan Heights and Sea of Galilee
Travel through the Plain of Armageddon and Megiddo on your way north to the Galilee region. From there, ascend into the Golan Heights where you'll see forests, farmlands, and vineyards covering the hillsides. Stop at the hot springs to relax your feet, then head to Shalom Observatory for views of the Sea of Galilee. You'll tour the Talmudic village at Katzrin to see how people lived in ancient times, and finish by visiting the abandoned Syrian bunkers on Mount Bental for a different perspective on the region's history.

Galilee Region
Drive north along the coastal road, passing through the Plain of Armageddon and the Megiddo area. You'll pause at Mt. Precipice for some time to take in the views and learn about its significance. After that, head into Nazareth to explore the churches there. Later, travel to the Sea of Galilee shore and visit Capernaum and the Church of the Multiplication. You'll pass through Tiberias and stop at the Yardenit baptismal site before making your way back, going past Mt. Tabor as you return.

Coastal Israel
Start with Israel's northern coast, beginning in Caesarea where you can walk through the ancient Roman port city. From there, head to Haifa to see the terraced Baha'i Gardens terracing down the hillside. Continue north to Rosh HaNikra at Israel's northernmost coastline and walk through the white sea caves carved into the cliffs. End your day in Acre, the Crusader city where you can see structures from the 12th century through the British Mandate Period, giving you layers of history all in one place.
