This was an excellent vacation. The activities were varied and always fascinating, the boat, meals and crew were wonderful and the guide Carlos was super accessible and knowledgeable. Transfers were smooth and well organized as well the intervened to get us on an earlier flight when there was a delay in our flights - even without us calling for help.

My tour, the Galapagos Island Hopping, was excellent. The tour guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and adaptable. The itinerary was great too. Highly recommend this tour, but add another couple of days to visit other islands on your own too.

    Asked on March 21st, 2024

Are the flights from and back to Quito included in the price? Also, is the price per person or per cabin? I have two boys aged 15 and 16yrs. I am happy for us all to stay in the same cabin.

Yes, for our Galapagos Explorer: Central Islands (Grand Queen Beatriz), the flights from and back to Quito are included in the price. All pricing on our site is per person, per cabin on a twin share bases. We sadly do not offer triple cabins aboard either of our ships so a party of 3 would need to be split into 2 cabins with either a single supplement paid or shared with another passenger. Single supplements to buy out a cabin are between 85% - 90% of the cabin cost, depending on the style.

Is there a phone number I can call if I have additional questions? So the cruise has 4 full days in galapagos and one half day? I'm curious if there are any options available to extend if we wanted to stay at least 6 full days in galapagos?

    • Intrepid TravelOperatorWritten January 2022

You could forgo the flight back to Quito with the group and arrange your own accommodation on the islands if you wanted to stay longer, but unfortunately we aren't able to add any additional nights on the islands for this particular departure. If you wanted a longer trip and more time on the boat and around the islands we do have a few 10 day options available, which would give you a full 7 nights on the boat cruising around the islands.

are either of those trips available in the jan 10-20 timeframe?

    • Intrepid TravelOperatorWritten January 2022

No - unfortunately the 10 day tours which Alex suggested do not have departures scheduled between Jan 10-20. Are your dates flexible and if so would you be interested in traveling at another time?
