Itinerary
- Day 1
Athens
Your arrival day in Greece starts with a transfer from Athens airport straight to your hotel. Once you get settled, the rest of the day is free to relax and adjust to the time zone or explore your immediate surroundings at a leisurely pace.



- Day 2
Athens
This morning you'll explore Athens starting with iconic landmarks like the Panathenaic Stadium and Hadrian's Arch. From there, head to the Acropolis to see the Parthenon and other Classical structures. After touring the Acropolis Museum, spend your afternoon wandering through the charming Plaka neighbourhood and checking out the shops along Ermou street.

- Day 3
Athens to Olympia
After breakfast, head south into the Peloponnese. You'll stop at the dramatic Corinth Canal, then continue to Epidaurus to see its famous theatre. Next comes Mycenae where you can explore the ancient City of Gold with its Cyclopean walls and Lion's Gate. Later in the day, cross through the Peloponnese mountains and arrive in Olympia for dinner.

- Day 4
Olympia to Delphi
Start by exploring the ancient Olympic sanctuary on the banks of the River Alfios. You'll see the Temple of Zeus, the Palaestra, and Phidias's workshop. The local museum has the impressive statue of Hermes of Praxitelis. In the afternoon, head north over the Rio-Antirio bridge to reach Delphi for your evening meal.

- Day 5
Delphi to Kalambaka
Walk the Sacred Way through Delphi's ancient sanctuary, which once hosted the Oracle of Apollo and served as a major pilgrimage center. Check out the local museum to see the bronze Charioteer statue and the omphalos stone. Then cross through central Greece's mountains and head toward Kalambaka for the night.

- Day 6
Kalambaka to Thessaloniki
This morning you'll visit Meteora, a UNESCO World Heritage site where ancient Eastern Orthodox monasteries sit atop incredible rock formations. Later, drive north through the plains of Thessaly and the Valley of Tempi, passing under Mount Olympus where the 12 Greek gods are said to reside. You'll arrive in Thessaloniki by evening.

- Day 7
Thessaloniki
Spend your morning exploring Thessaloniki's Byzantine heritage by visiting the city's most important landmarks and monuments. The afternoon is left open for you to wander around at your own pace and discover other parts of the city that interest you.

- Day 8
Macedonian History Tour
Start the day in Edessa, a town framed by beautiful waterfalls. Visit Aristotle's School where he taught Alexander the Great. Next, explore the royal Macedonian tombs at Vergina, including the burial site of Philip II. Stop in Veria to see the Bema of St. Paul, the colourful market, and the Jewish neighbourhood. Return to Thessaloniki for dinner.

- Day 9
Thessaloniki to Athens
Continue with Macedonian history by heading to Pella, the birthplace of Alexander and ancient capital of Macedonia, which has exquisite floor mosaics and a new museum. Then visit the archaeological park of Dion at Mount Olympus's base. On the way back to Athens, stop at Thermopylae where Leonidas and 300 Spartans made their legendary stand against the Persians in 480 BC.
