The trip was good but our guide was really bad. The guide would not try the bring the group together in any way and at every campsite the guide's would go do their own thing and not try to socialize. The pace was so fast that you would not have time to enjoy the scenery, you be more concentrated on paddeling and steering the canoe, so i never got time to take any pictures. It almost seemed like that the guide did not care about the customers and just wanted to finish the trip as quick as possible. And as a last note the guide was verbaly quit rude to some off the customers, which was not ok.

What is the difference other than duration between the two classic trips on the Yukon?

    • Ruby Range AdventureOperatorWritten June 2022

The one Carmacks to Dawson spends two nights at Dawson with museum visits, goldpanning etc. Dawson is a very unique gold rush town.

Are you able to call me? My further questions would be around the time spent on the river, safety and risks.
