What people love about touring United Arab Emirates solo
- Dubai Luxury Holidays Package 6 Night 7 Days
Despite the very hot weather, we enjoyed the tour. If I could make some input, the First day which was Dubai City Tour, no lunch time set aside. The trip to Abu Dhabi, the lunch period is less than an hour and took us to buffet restaurants that is not practical I think for that amount of period considering the prize we have to pay. The dinner cruise tour, they made us wait for 3 hours almost then ended up not picking us at all. They compensate through the VIP section when they rescheduled it in the Desdert Safari Other than that we enjoyed our trip. The highlight is the Burj Kkalifa and Dessert Safari. Thanks Madelene
- Luxury Dubai Tour- 6 Nights & 7 days (4 star Luxury Apartment)
My Dubai tour was an absolute delight. The city's stunning skyline, rich culture, and luxurious attractions surpassed all my expectations. From traditional souks to futuristic skyscrapers, Dubai offers a unique blend of old and new. Thanks to Relax Gateways and their meticulous planning, every moment was smooth and enjoyable. If you're looking for a destination that offers a perfect mix of modernity and tradition, Dubai is the place to be. Dubai offers you a lot of activities to do. Go for it.

What our customers ask about United Arab Emirates Tours for Solo Travelers
Which areas in UAE are most recommended for solo travelers?
Dubai and Abu Dhabi stand out as the most accessible destinations for those traveling alone thanks to their reliable public transit systems and well-organized tours. The Dubai Marina particularly around JBR Beach and The Walk draws many independent travelers with its secure environment and diverse food scene. Beyond the marina Dubai Mall Downtown Dubai and Abu Dhabi's Corniche waterfront offer easy-to-navigate areas packed with activities. One TourRadar traveler puts it simply: "The Marina Walk area was perfect for exploring alone with plenty of restaurants and activities."
How much free time do solo travelers get on UAE guided tours?
Most tours strike a balance between structured activities and personal exploration time. Each day usually includes 4-5 hours of guided visits followed by time to explore on your own. Tours typically set aside at least one full day for independent activities whether that's extra sightseeing or optional excursions. As one traveler shared on TourRadar: "I'm happy that it's not a fully guided tour. I get to do my own exploration of the city."
What is the typical single supplement cost for UAE tours?
Extra charges for single rooms in the UAE generally run between USD 120-350 depending on hotel quality and travel season. The Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Al Mina 4* for instance charges around USD 120 extra for solo guests. Some tours drop or reduce these fees during the quieter months of June through August. A TourRadar participant noted "The tour is quite busy but we liked that as we probably won't be back and wanted to see as much as possible."
What accommodation arrangements are typically made for solo travelers on UAE tours?
Solo travelers find comfortable arrangements in Dubai and Abu Dhabi's well-connected hotels. Properties like the Novotel Bur Dubai place guests near metro stations and key attractions making independent exploration simple. The areas around Dubai Marina JBR Walk and Abu Dhabi's Corniche Beach offer safe environments for solo guests. According to one TourRadar review: "I felt completely safe exploring Dubai Marina and JBR on my own during free time and the metro system made it easy to get around independently."
What's the typical group size for UAE guided tours?
Tours usually operate with 12-15 participants creating an environment that's both personal and social. Desert Safari tours often use 6-person 4x4 vehicles which helps people connect more easily. As one TourRadar participant observed: "Our group of 14 was perfect - small enough to get to know everyone but large enough to always find someone to connect with."
What's the best time of year for solo travelers to visit the UAE?
The period from October to March offers the most pleasant conditions for exploring the UAE. Temperatures hover between 24-30°C (75-86°F) making it comfortable for outdoor activities like walking tours through Dubai Marina or city explorations in Abu Dhabi. A TourRadar visitor noted: "I went in November and the weather was perfect for all the outdoor activities plus there were lots of other solo travelers during this peak season."
