For the most part the tour and tour guides were very good and knowledgeable. Our major concern was the overnight stay on the boat at Ha Long Bay. The room we were allocated from the outset had issues with diesel fumes within the room (we were on the 2nd deck right above the engine room) these fumes remained in the room to a varying degree dependent on the boat running or at anchor. The toilet in our room did not flush then started to emit a very unpleasant smell. We spoke to our tour representative on the boat (Brian) who arranged for a crewman to fix the problem. This only caused more issues with the toilet now leaking over the bathroom floor. There was also water backflowing out of the drain in the shower and floor near toilet. This could not be fixed and a number of beach towels were laid on the floor and around the base of the toilet to soak up the leakage. This forced my wife and I to walk down to the first-floor main toilet every time when required for use (the room next to ours had been locked off for similar plumbing issues). There was also a leak in one of our windows in the bedroom. We had an air conditioner in our room which did not work which also added to the issue with not dispersing diesel fumes. There were no other rooms available to relocate to as it was a full cruise. When we spoke to Brian about these issues, he was understanding but couldn't do anything more for us and then told us after this cruise this vessel was headed to dry dock for major repairs. Why was this boat allowed to conduct this tour if there were so many known faults? We would like to add Mr Danny was a great tour operator in Hanoi. Mr Hien & Mr TinTin in Saigon were excellent tour guides. If it hadn't been for the room issues on the boat this would have rated as an excellent tour.
A wonderful trip with a lot of memories for us. we just finished the trip today and writing this at the airport now. Special thanks to Kenz, the best tour operator i’ve ever seen. Will be back for Vietnam soon.

I loved this trip, everything and everyone was well organised, well co-ordinated and on time. The extra transportation they arranged for me was great and everyone was super friendly and professional. The group city tour in Saigon was great, the guide from TKN travel was very helpful and informative. On my way to Hanoi I sent an email to Ms Chang and she replied before flight landed. I thought I was joining a group city tour there too so I was a bit disappointed but Tony and driver met me at airport and took me on a quick tour in Hanoi on way to hotel. Tony was great, he told me about history and took me to water puppet show (not my favourite experience) - the trip to Halong bay was fone after a bit of a confusing start, Long was very informative and helpful. Pelican cruises was lovely, bay a real highlight, gorgeous place. Staff on boat were extremely professional and manager was lovely. Going back.back to Hanoi, again a bit confusing to where I was going because I needed to go to airport but staff contacted each other. Long and Tony arranged for me to be dropped off first at original hotel. There, Tony was waiting for me and he put me.in.a.taxi and.I was taken to airport. Once I arrived back in Saigon, a driver picked me up and took me to hotel.Very courteous professional and friendly staff. The only thing is that I didn't join cuchi tunnel afternoon tour in hcmc because I wasn't feeling too well. I asked guide to phone up and ask for price to go to Cao dai temple.and.cu chi tunnels another day and they quoted 40.dollars which I thought was.too.expensive so I went with another tour for half the price
