What people love about Argentina Tours for Seniors
- Brazil, Argentina & Chile Unveiled
We Joined Cosmos 27 days tour. No doubt, Cosmos is our best experience, reliable International Tour Company. We are caught during Peru President Lock Down and Cosmos Charter a Flight to took us from LIMA to Miami before the midnight lock down. We came back and get the unfinished tour refund with no Hazard. Why can you find a tour company during Pandemic? Our first PRIORITY tour company. We will book again!!!
- Antarctica Classic
An amazing trip, the experience of a lifetime! The team has been great as well, very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!
- Brazil & Argentina Escape with Santiago
The tour, the tour director, and the hotels were excellent. However, we will NEVER use Tourradar again due to the misinformation that you gave us prior to our trip. Examples: First, we were told that we could not bring a second piece of luggage without paying an extra daily fee- and that the carry on had to be no bigger than 12x11x6. We worked very hard to comply with that strict standard. So, imagine our surprise and anger when EVERY other tour member had a large checked suitcase, a standard carry on suitcase with wheels, and a personal bag much larger than those measurements! Secondly, we asked 3 times (April 24, 25, 27) if we would be flying on Aerolineas Air during our trip. Three times we were either just quoted the paragraph from the brochure that said, "if you fly on Aerolineas Air..." or outright told that we would not. So, we were pretty angry when we did in-fact fly on Aerolineas Air. So we had to pay the extra weight fee. (If we had been allowed to divide our luggage between our large suitcase and a carry on, we would not have been over their 17kg limit.) Lastly, your brochure said that there would be headsets throughout the tour. Turns out there was not one headset an ANY tour. Many times, especially when we were on a busy street, we could not hear a thing that the tour guide told us. We paid a lot of money to learn what we could about these places that we would never visit again, so we were really cheated out of what we paid for.
What our customers ask about Argentina Tours for Seniors
What's the best time of year for seniors to visit Argentina?
Spring (October-November) and fall (March-April) offer the most comfortable conditions for senior travelers with mild weather and fewer tourists. Buenos Aires sees pleasant temperatures of 20-25°C (68-77°F) during these seasons. For those interested in Patagonia's glaciers the November to March window provides more stable conditions. A TourRadar traveler noted: "The weather was fantastic in March for our trip to Perito Moreno Glacier and the timing meant we avoided the peak summer crowds."
What type of accommodation can seniors expect on Argentina tours?
From elegant city hotels to mountain lodges Argentina's accommodations cater well to senior travelers. Buenos Aires features properties like the Alvear Art Hotel and Hotel Fenicia while El Calafate offers convenient bases like Los Glaciares Hotel. Standard amenities include elevators restaurant facilities and round-the-clock reception. One TourRadar traveler shared: "Don Los Cerros at El Chalten was very nice - luxurious superb location and views spa with hot tub and excellent service perfect for relaxing after day tours."
What medical facilities and healthcare access is available during Argentina tours?
Private hospitals with English-speaking staff are readily available in major cities especially Buenos Aires. Leading tour companies like Scenic and Collette partner with local healthcare providers and offer 24/7 emergency support. Seniors should secure travel insurance for pre-existing conditions and bring necessary medications. What level of physical activity is required for Argentina tours?
Tours generally feature moderate activities with regular breaks built in. Daily schedules might include walking tours in Buenos Aires scenic drives through Bariloche and short walks at Perito Moreno Glacier. Many properties like the Llao Llao Hotel offer gentle nature walks on their grounds. A TourRadar reviewer shared: "The pace was perfect for our group of seniors - enough activity to see everything but not overly strenuous."
What is the typical group size for senior-friendly tours in Argentina?
Most tours keep numbers between 20-25 participants allowing for personal attention and easier movement between locations. Premium operators like Scenic limit their Antarctica cruises to 200 passengers. A TourRadar traveler observed: "Our group of 18 was perfect - large enough to be social but small enough for individual attention."
