- Day 1
Buenos Aires
You'll arrive in Buenos Aires and get settled at your hotel. Spend the rest of the day however you'd like, taking a walk through La Boca's colorful art district or checking out San Telmo's bohemian neighborhoods where you'll find tango clubs and antique shops scattered around.

Buenos Aires to Ushuaia
After flying from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia, you'll board the Scenic Eclipse yacht. The Captain and crew greet you, and then the ship heads out through the Beagle Channel. You'll see the dramatic Andean mountains rising up as you cruise through these scenic waters.

Drake Passage
Start your morning with breakfast in your suite or at the Yacht Club, whenever you're ready. Later, the Polar Discovery Team gives a presentation about the Antarctic expedition and how the Zodiac excursions work. Spend some time exploring the theatre and checking out what evening entertainment options are available.

Landmarks/POIs Drake Passage - Day 4
Antarctica Entry
You'll head to the Observation Deck as the ship enters Antarctic waters to get your first look at icebergs. Keep an eye out for whale blows in the distance. The Polar Discovery Team, made up of about 20 experts including geologists, historians, and marine biologists, is available throughout the day to answer your questions.

Antarctic Exploration
From your verandah suite, you'll have views of icebergs and glacial mountains. Watch for over 40 bird species like wandering albatrosses with their huge wingspans and giant petrels. The Captain and Discovery Team plan each day's activities based on ice and weather, making the most of the 18-20 hours of daylight you have.

Landmarks/POIs Antarctica - Day 6
Antarctic Sightseeing
Depending on conditions, you might visit Portal Point, a former British refuge hut, or land on Deception Island in the South Shetland Islands. Deception Island sits over an active submerged volcano, and hundreds of thousands of chinstrap penguins live there. Later, you can enjoy dining experiences or relax in the bar or library.

Penguin and Whale Encounters
You'll get up close with penguin colonies while the Polar Discovery Team guides you. Around 12 million penguins live on the Peninsula, including Adelie, Chinstrap, Gentoo, and rare Emperor penguins. You might also see whales like minke, humpback, or Orca from the yacht, Zodiac, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard.

Landmarks/POIs Antarctica - Day 8
Lemaire Channel
Navigate through the Lemaire Channel, an 11-kilometer passage that's only 700 meters wide at its narrowest point. From the Observation Deck, you'll see dramatic rocky mountains and bright blue icebergs. Relax in the Observation Lounge with specialty tea or coffee and use the Swarovski telescopes to get a better look around.

Landmarks/POIs Lemaire Channel - Day 9
Anvers Island
On a clear day, you can see Mount Francis, the highest peak on Anvers Island. Each day brings different activities like hiking or time on a pebbled beach with curious penguins nearby. Back on the yacht, you'll have access to the Observation Lounge, Senses Spa with sauna, and can join yoga or Pilates classes. Choose from up to 10 dining options.

Polar Plunge
This is the highlight day for many: the polar plunge. The Scenic Eclipse stops and sets up the marina so guests can swim in freezing Antarctic waters. If you're not ready to jump in, find a good spot on deck and enjoy hot chocolate or whiskey while watching those who do take the plunge.

Drake Passage Return
You'll start heading back across the Drake Passage toward South America. Have freshly squeezed juice and barista-made coffee or tea brought to your suite. You can work out in the gym or join Pilates and aerial yoga classes. Later, relax in the Scenic Lounge Bar with aged whiskey, wine, or French champagne and reflect on what you've seen.

Landmarks/POIs Drake Passage - Day 12
Captain's Bridge and Spa
Take advantage of the Captain's open bridge policy and visit the bridge to see how the Scenic Eclipse operates, which is also one of the best viewing spots on the ship. Before the expedition ends, book a treatment at the Senses Spa like an ESPA facial or massage, then relax in the Vitality Lounge.

Ushuaia to Buenos Aires
Your voyage ends this morning. After breakfast, you'll say goodbye to the crew and fellow passengers. Then you disembark and fly back to Buenos Aires, leaving with memories of your Antarctic trip.
