What people love about Gulet Tours
- 4-day Split to Dubrovnik One-way Cruise - Classic Plus above-deck, 18-35s
Fantastic trip! All of the tour staff were very friendly and helpful. Boat was clean and well-stocked. Upstairs deck great for lounging. The trip was a perfect mix of relaxation and site-seeing/exploring. Our group was fun and adventurous but not to rowdy which was nice. Food on board was exceptional, especially for a boat tour of this type! Great value. Would definitely book again.
- 5-day Dubrovnik to Split one-way cruise - Classic Plus above-deck, 18-35s

- Maldives Dhoni Cruise
Loved the trip! CEO and crew were attenative to our needs and sensed a real desire to make it as wonderful as possible. Did all they could to make sure we had top snorkeling experiences, including see illusive manta rays!
What our customers ask about Gulet Tours & Trips
When is the best time to take a Gulet cruise?
May through October works best for Gulet cruises in the Mediterranean, especially June to September. If you sail along Turkey's Turquoise Coast, you'll enjoy temperatures between 75-85°F (24-29°C) with calm seas and very little rain. The water is warmest in July and August, but it can get hot - up to 90°F (32°C). If you want fewer tourists and milder weather, try April-May or September-October. You'll still get great sailing conditions during these months.
What destinations and routes do Gulet tours cover?
Gulet boats cover about 20-30 nautical miles each day, taking you along beautiful coastlines and islands. In Turkey, you might sail the Turquoise Coast from Fethiye to Olympos, stopping at Butterfly Valley, Kas, and the underwater ruins at Kekova. Greek routes often go through the Ionian Islands, including Corfu, Paxos, and Antipaxos. Your captain will plan each day's stops based on the weather, mixing in visits to historic sites, quiet bays, and coastal towns.
What meals are served on Gulet tours?
You'll get three fresh meals a day, cooked by your own chef on board. The food is mostly Mediterranean and local dishes. On Montenegro trips, for example, you get 7 breakfasts, 6 three-course lunches, and 2 three-course dinners, plus fresh fruit whenever you want it. One TourRadar traveler said: "The chef and food were amazing! We had fresh local seafood and traditional dishes prepared daily."
What destinations can I explore on a typical Gulet tour?
Most Gulet tours focus on the coasts of Turkey and Greece. Popular routes include Turkey's Turquoise Coast between Bodrum and Fethiye, and trips through the Greek Dodecanese Islands. TourRadar travelers often mention stops like Kos with its 560-year-old tree and healing spots, Butterfly Valley where you can see 136 different butterfly species, and Kekova's underwater ruins. You can also visit places like Cleopatra's Island with its special beach and check out old Byzantine ruins on St. Nicholas Island.
How much time is spent at each destination?
You usually get 3-4 hours in main ports and 1-2 hours at swimming spots. When sailing from Split to Dubrovnik, for instance, you'll spend whole afternoons and evenings in historic towns like Hvar. That's enough time to walk up to the fortress, eat at local restaurants, and even go out at night if you want. At swimming stops in quiet bays, you get 1-2 hours to swim, snorkel, or just relax on the deck - plenty of TourRadar travelers mention this in their reviews.
What's the typical group size on a Gulet tour?
You'll usually sail with 16-25 other people. Greek boats can take up to 25 passengers in 9 cabins, while Turkish boats along the Turquoise Coast are a bit smaller. One TourRadar traveler said: "As it was a small group of 16 people, we got very close as a group and formed such beautiful connections." With fewer people on board, you get more personal attention and can easily visit smaller bays and coves that bigger boats can't reach.
