What people love about Nordic / Scandinavia Tours in March
- Jewels of Scandinavia End Helsinki
I travelled from Copenhagen, Denmark through Sweden, Finland and then on to Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and back to Berlin. I was hesitant about these trips, because the majority of people are Spanish/Portuguese speaking. But, the guides both spoke English well and there were a couple other people who spoke some English so it went well. Tony and Bijo were excellent guides with a vast knowledge of each place we went. Even if you asked something they didn't know, they would find out for you. Tony and Bijo went above and beyond to make everyone's trip the very best experience. Some mention the hotels being a bit far, which in most cases didn't bother me, as we were close to public transportation. There were a couple instances where I agreed that the hotel should have been a bit closer to the touristic area. These trips are designed for independent travelers as there is a lot of free time to explore on your own, but you almost always have a city tour before the free time to orient yourself.
- Jewels of Scandinavia End Tallinn
Drivers: Ahmed from Airport to hotel transfer was friendly and patient. He did not receive flight, passport control and baggage delayed information emailed and Whatsapp text to Europamundo. Valdas tour driver needs to smile and be friendly. Tour leaders and Local Guides: Lorenzo is Overall an excellent tour leader. Informative and caring leader to people's needs. Andre is great, friendly and informative. Luna in Copenhagen and Mia in Stockholm are local guides. They should include in their routes toilet stop badly needed. Not friendly nor caring. Gabriella in Stockholm is an excellent guide. Very informative and cares to help. Irene in Tallin even in a bad weather was great. Hotels Feedback: The usual complaints at your partners. Floors in room and toilet are dirty, need daily mopping and vacuum even under bed. Dirty toilet, bath tub n lavatory, need daily scrubbing. Sticky door knobs, furnitures and remote control, need daily cleaning and sanitizing. Window curtains dusty, need weekly washing. Hotels who cater to foreigners should offer a free English channel daily. Sad not to care about paying travelers. Lifts are good. Better hotel locations near market but again no washer/dryer in the property.
- Grand Scandinavia (Classic)
This is a fabulous tour. Be prepared to be tired and happy all at the same time. The bus travel is long and gives you a great chance to see the local houses, the people and the countryside. Not a trip for the unfit or less mobile person but a surprise every day for all.
