What people love about India Tours in February
- Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore Tigers and Taj Mahal Sunrise/Sunset 7 Days
We have booked a tour for one week. Started in dehli, where we had a really nice Tourguide, over to Agra. We also spend 2 nights in the Nationalpark to See the tigers, After that we went to Jaipur. The Hotels were nice and clean! Our driver shiva, really chilled and relaxed guy. His car was nice and clean and his driving as well! He was available for the whole week, he was with us and kept us safe. He helped us with any problems.
- 10 Days Golden Triangle Tour with Mumbai, From New Delhi Airport

- Taj Mahal and Wildlife with Royal Stay at Castles
We just returned home from a 12 days tour to India and we must say that Swastik India is the best travel agency we ever traveled with.We felt very special throughout the tour. They really care about their travalers. When they got to know about my husband's birthday they arranged a surprise dinner for us.It was a very special moment. The stay at castles was outstanding. It was a different experience.Cultural activities in the evening were very entertaining. Hotel selection was excellent. Our driver Devi was very nice and helpful guy. Everything on this tour exceeded our expectations and we will definitely use Swastik for our future trips to India.
What our customers ask about India Tours in February 2026
What kind of weather can I expect during my February trip to India's Golden Triangle?
February provides some of the most pleasant conditions for exploring India's Golden Triangle. Visitors can expect daytime temperatures of 20-25°C (68-77°F) across Delhi Agra and Jaipur. The clear skies and mild temperatures create good conditions for outdoor sightseeing at landmarks like the Taj Mahal and Amber Fort. The early mornings can be cool particularly during sunrise visits so pack a light jacket. Properties like the Courtyard by Marriott in Agra and The Lalit in Jaipur are well-equipped for the mild winter weather with climate-controlled rooms.
What are the best wildlife viewing opportunities in India during February?
February ranks among the top months for wildlife spotting especially at Ranthambore National Park. Tigers are particularly active in the cooler winter weather making them easier to spot during both morning (6-9 AM) and afternoon game drives. Beyond tigers the park's diverse wildlife includes leopards striped hyenas sambar deer and numerous bird species. "We saw four Tigers all in all one was wide out in the open with no bushes or trees as obstructions!" reports one TourRadar visitor. Visitors can base themselves at properties like Ranthambore Heritage Haveli or Tiger's Den Resort which arrange safari excursions.
What are the advantages of visiting the Taj Mahal in February?
Clear skies and good visibility make February an excellent time to visit the Taj Mahal. The dense morning fog common in December and January typically clears by February allowing for clearer sunrise views. Most tour operators schedule early morning visits around 5:45 AM to see the monument in optimal lighting conditions. Nearby accommodations like Crystal Sarovar Premiere or Howard Plaza provide convenient access to the site. "The Taj Mahal at sunrise was absolutely magical with perfect February weather" notes one recent visitor.
How crowded are tourist attractions in India during February?
Tourist numbers in February stay manageable at major sites offering a more relaxed experience than the peak December-January season. While you'll still encounter other visitors at landmarks like the Taj Mahal and Amber Fort the crowds are noticeably thinner. Tour companies like Joyful Holidays often schedule early morning visits to help avoid the busiest hours. Hotels including ITC Rajputana in Jaipur and Jaypee Palace in Agra handle February's visitor levels while maintaining service quality.
What kind of accommodation options are available in February?
February offers good availability across accommodation types from luxury to mid-range properties. High-end options include The Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur and The Leela Palace in Delhi with heated pools and full amenities. For mid-range stays Crystal Sarovar in Agra and Zone by The Park in Jaipur provide comfortable bases. Heritage properties like Narain Niwas Palace in Jaipur are particularly pleasant during February's mild weather. Room availability tends to be better than peak season with many properties offering competitive rates.
How do February prices compare to other months for Indian tours?
February tours often cost less than peak season December-January trips while still offering excellent weather conditions. Most 5-7 day Golden Triangle tours range from 900-1500 USD including stays at quality hotels like the Taj Palace in Delhi or ITC Rajputana in Jaipur. Tour operators including Joyful Holidays frequently offer early booking incentives for February departures. The month provides good value with pleasant weather and reduced crowds without peak season premiums.
