What people love about Safari Tours in West Africa
- 3 days 2 Nights Marrakech to Fes Desert Tour - Overnight in a Luxury Camp
Our two drivers were very nice and engaging and always gave us interesting information about the places we passed through. Our stop in Aït-Ben-Haddou was nice, but we don't think a guide would have been necessary here. Our hotel on the first day was fine. On the second day, the morning program was a bit disappointing. Our guide was very nice, but we spent a lot of time in a carpet store, so we only had ten minutes at most for the canyon, the real highlight. We were then shooed onto the bus to have an hour-long lunch break in an overpriced tourist restaurant a hundred meters away. We thought that was a shame. But the desert was a real highlight. The private camel ride at sunset was breathtaking. Our guide was very friendly and gave us enough time to enjoy the scenery and the sunset. Our camp was also simply amazing! The buffet was incredibly tasty and the tents were were spacious and very comfortable. The next morning was absolutely beautiful as well as we were able to admire the sunrise over the dunes. A truly unique and incredible experience! I can't emphasize enough how great the experience in the desert was. All in all, the desert was simply amazing and we loved every second of it, but the rest of the program was a bit disappointing, partly because everything seemed very rushed.
