Itinerary
- Day 1
Casablanca
Your driver meets you at Casablanca airport and takes you to your hotel. This afternoon, you'll check out the Mosque of Hassan II, which sits right on the Atlantic Ocean with its intricate Moroccan mosaics and beautiful architecture. After that, you can walk along Casablanca's coastal Corniche to get a feel for the city before the day ends.

Rabat - Chefchaouen
After breakfast, you head north from Casablanca to experience more of Morocco's culture. First stop is Rabat, the capital, where you'll see the Royal Palace, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Oudaias Kasbah, and Hassan Tower. Then you continue to Chefchaouen, the famous blue city tucked in the Rif Mountains, known for its traditional blue-painted buildings and history dating back to 1471.

Chefchaouen
You have time to wander around Chefchaouen's blue-washed streets and local artisan shops. If you wake up early, you can photograph the quiet streets. After breakfast, you walk through the medina and head up to Ras El Maa Waterfall for views from above. You'll see Place of Outa El Hamam square with its cafes, check out the 18th-century Kasbah and its garden, and visit the Spanish Mosque (Bouzafer Mosque) from the 15th century.

Volubilis - Meknes - Fes
After breakfast, you leave Chefchaouen for Fes, stopping along the way at the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you can see temples and mosaics. Next you reach Meknes, an imperial city built by Sultan Moulay Ismail in the 17th century. You'll walk through the medina, see Bab El Mansour gate, Moulay Ismail Tombs, and El Hedim Square before heading to your hotel in Fes.

Fes
After breakfast, you meet a local guide for a full day exploring Fes, a UNESCO site and one of Morocco's oldest imperial cities founded in 808. You start at the Golden Doors of the Royal Palace, then go to a viewpoint overlooking the Old Medina walls. From there, you walk through the medina seeing mosques, madrassas, and religious buildings, then reach the Tanners district. Later you visit the artisans' neighborhood where craftspeople use traditional Andalusian techniques. The evening is yours to explore on your own.

Ifrane - Cedar Forest - Mid-Atlas - Erfoud - Erg Chebbi
After breakfast, you travel southeast through Ifrane, known as the 'Switzerland of Morocco', and cross the Cedar Forest where Barbary macaques live in Morocco's largest woodland. You continue through the Mid-Atlas Mountains with lunch in Midelt or Er-Rich, then pass through Tizi N'Taghamt and along the Ziz Valley with panoramic views. By afternoon you reach Erg Chebbi's sand dunes for camel trekking across golden dunes. You'll watch the sunset from a high dune, then settle at the desert camp for dinner and Berber music around a campfire under the stars.

Rissani - Todra Valley - Dades Valley
You wake early to see the sunrise over Erg Chebbi's dunes. After a shower and breakfast at camp, you ride camels back to the departure point and travel to Rissani, a historic city that was once a major caravan stop. If your visit falls on Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday, you can explore the region's largest souk. You continue to Erfoud, the Fossil Town, then enter the Dades Valley through villages like Jorf, Tinjdad, and Tinghir. Later you visit Todra Valley, a green oasis with mud villages and tall mountains, and see Todra Gorges with cliffs rising 300 meters. You'll explore the Dades Valley's rock formations and mud kasbahs before settling in for the night.

Kalaat M'Gouna - Skoura - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech
You leave Dades Gorges heading toward Marrakech on the famous Road of Thousand Kasbahs. First you stop in Kalaat M'Gouna, the Valley of Roses, to check out local shops with rose-based products. Then you reach Skoura where you can optionally visit Amridil Kasbah if there's time. After that, you get to Ouarzazate to see Atlas Studios, known as the Hollywood of Africa. You visit Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former caravan stop used for movie filming. Lunch is in the village, then you cross the scenic Tizi N'Tichka Pass with views of valleys, mountains, and Berber villages before arriving in Marrakech.

Marrakech
After breakfast at your hotel, you meet a local guide in Marrakech to explore the 'Red City of Morocco'. You'll see the Saadian Tombs, the beautiful Palaces of El Bahia and El Badi, Ben Youssef Quranic School, and the historic Koutoubia Mosque with its 77-meter minaret. You also visit the Menara Gardens and Jardin Majorelle (book tickets 1-2 days ahead). The day finishes at Jamaa El-Fna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with cafes, magicians, storytellers, and street vendors. You can walk through the colorful souks and spend the night in Marrakech.
