As an introduction to the main historical sites and buildings of Turkey this is perfect. You will see from the itinerary that it covers quite a large percentage of them. I would recommend it. There is a lot of time in the minibus because of the distance between sites but the bus we had was reasonably comfortable. Everything was included entrance fees, guide, meals and good hotel's. I would recommend it.

Overall we had a very enjoyable tour. Our CEO was excellent. She took time to answer all questions patiently and in case of issues she was quick to respond and resolve. Accommodation was average and food (breakfast) was average.

What our customers ask about Coach / Bus Tours & Trips in Turkey
What are the key attractions covered on most bus tours in Turkey?
Turkey's most popular bus tours take travelers through the country's essential sites. Stops typically include the architectural wonders of Istanbul including the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia the well-preserved ruins of ancient Ephesus and the natural white terraces of Pamukkale. Most itineraries venture into Cappadocia's underground cities and include time at the Mevlana Museum in Konya. As one TourRadar traveler shared: "From touring the ancient and grand mosques of Istanbul to strolling the Ottoman style markets to sailing on the Aegean and Mediterranean seas to flying in a hot air balloon over the fairy chimneys of Cappadocia... This trip has it all!"
What unique scenic experiences can travelers enjoy from the comfort of a bus tour in Turkey?
Bus tours in Turkey offer front-row views of the country's diverse geography. The routes pass along the Sea of Marmara's coastline on the way to Gallipoli showcase the unusual rock formations in Cappadocia and provide views of Pamukkale's white calcium pools. The modern buses come equipped with large windows that are ideal for taking photos. Many tours include overnight stays at hotels chosen for their views such as the Alfina Cave Hotel in Cappadocia or the Charisma De Luxe Hotel overlooking the Aegean in Kusadasi. A TourRadar traveler noted: "The drive through the Taurus Mountains was breathtaking and our guide pointed out interesting sites we would have missed traveling independently."
What is the typical daily schedule like on a coach tour in Turkey?
The day on Turkish bus tours usually begins with breakfast at your hotel between 8:00-9:00 AM at properties like the Grand Hyatt Istanbul or Hilton Bosphorus. Most days include guided visits to 2-3 major sites such as Istanbul's Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia or Cappadocia's cave churches. Lunch breaks last about 90 minutes at local restaurants followed by afternoon sightseeing until early evening. One TourRadar traveler noted: "The tour had a good balance of activities and free time though some early starts were needed to cover all the highlights." Evenings offer dinner at hotels or local restaurants plus optional activities like traditional dervish performances.
How do bus tours in Turkey accommodate stops for sightseeing and relaxation?
Turkish bus tours plan regular stops every few hours for sightseeing meals and rest breaks. Major attractions like Ephesus or Pamukkale get 2-4 hour visits while quick photo stops happen at scenic points. The itineraries often include relaxation time at spa hotels such as the Doga Thermal Health & Spa in Pamukkale. According to one TourRadar traveler: "The coach was very comfortable with good legroom and regular stops made the journey enjoyable. Our driver knew all the best stopping points for photos and breaks." Many tours also schedule longer stays in key cities like Istanbul or Cappadocia allowing for a slower pace.
How much free time do I have to explore independently on a coach tour in Turkey?
While schedules differ most Turkish bus tours mix guided excursions with independent exploration. Travelers typically get 1-2 hours of free time at major stops like Istanbul's Grand Bazaar or the town of Göreme. Evenings are usually unstructured after dinner perfect for exploring neighborhoods or joining optional activities. Some itineraries include full free days especially in Istanbul or Antalya. A TourRadar traveler noted: "Our guide provided great suggestions for free time activities and local restaurants. We had enough flexibility to explore on our own while still hitting all the highlights with the group." Many tours use centrally located hotels like the Movenpick Golden Horn Istanbul making independent exploration easy.
What are the biggest time-saving advantages of traveling via coach tours in Turkey?
Bus tours streamline travel between Turkey's major sites by handling all logistics and transportation. Professional drivers navigate the routes between cities like Istanbul Cappadocia and Ephesus removing the need to figure out driving or public transport. These tours include priority access at popular sites like Topkapi Palace and efficient hotel check-ins at properties like the Hilton Bosphorus Istanbul. As one TourRadar traveler commented: "Having all the transportation and accommodation arranged saved us countless hours of planning. We covered more ground in 10 days than we could have managed independently in two weeks." The tours also coordinate strategic meal and rest stops to make the most of travel time.
