What people love about Malta Tours
- Malta and Gozo Discovery
Our overall tour was excellent. We had a wonderful tour leader in Elizabeth Cutajar (Lisa), and the itinerary was nicely varied and well thought out. The weakest part of the tour were the two hotels, the Calypso in Gozo and the Argento in St. Julian, but I realize that they were probably good value for the money.
- Malta Experience 7D/6N
This was a great experience, Malta offers a lot of great places, historic sites, beautiful beaches and you like night life, there’s a tons of bars and restaurants you can choose from.

We particularly appreciated the local Maltese food . This is an excellent tour . Professional service from SoletoTravel guys.
What our customers ask about Malta Tours & Trips
Is Malta Expensive for Tourists?
Malta really fits most budgets you'll find plenty of options from backpacker hostels right up to fancy hotels. The Mercure St. Julians is a good 4-star choice if you want something in between. Food won't break the bank either especially if you explore local spots - grab a traditional Ftira for lunch or try authentic Maltese cooking at one of those charming farmhouse taverns. Our travelers tell us they get great value here considering all the culture and beautiful views you get to experience.
How Many Days Do You Need to Really See Malta?
You'll want 4 to 7 days to properly experience Malta there's just so much to take in. If you rush through in less time you might miss some real gems like Valletta Mdina and beautiful Gozo Island. Five days lets you cover the main spots including Valletta Comino and Gozo while a week-long Malta and Gozo Discovery tour really lets you dive deep into the culture and find those hidden spots most tourists miss.
What's the Best Way to Get Around?
The public bus network is actually really comprehensive connecting pretty much everywhere from Marsalforn to Xwejni and Sannat. There's regular ferries between the islands too it's just a quick 25-minute ride from Cirkewwa to Gozo. Renting a car gives you more freedom to explore though parking in Valletta can be a bit tricky. The hop-on hop-off bus is pretty handy with 35 stops covering major spots like Valletta Waterfront Vittoriosa and the Blue Grotto.
Where Can You Find Those Special Places Away From the Crowds?
Check out Marsaxlokk and Marsaskala these lovely fishing villages are known for their colorful Luzzu boats and amazing seafood. Majjistral Nature Park is fantastic for nature lovers you'll find ancient relics and Punic tombs there. Over on Gozo the quiet village of Gharb is worth visiting for its beautiful Baroque church and traditional stone houses. Don't miss places like Qala Dahlet Qorrot and San Blas Bay in Gozo they're real hidden gems.
