Overall the tour was very good. We were on the 5 day tour. We weren't told it was actually two different tours, a 2-day tour and a 3-day tour. The tour guides were excellent and very knowledgeable. They went out of their way for us to have a good experience. The accommodation was mostly fine. However, one night the tour was split into two groups that stayed at different hotels. The two hotels were of very different quality. We were put in what was basically student dorms, filled with school children. The washroom was moldy. The room was so small, we couldn't both open our suitcases and there was nowhere to put the suitcases. This was very upsetting. As a group of 6 people that booked far in advance, it was extremely disappointing and surprising that we were given a sub-standard hotel (Hotel Cabin in Reykjavik). At the beginning of the tour, we were told to be ready at a certain time and weren't picked up until 2 hours later without any communication. One of the people in our party had to wait outdoors in the cold and rain waiting for these 2 hours. This is unacceptable.

Arctic Adventure delivers more than it promised! Very professional staff, specically Solimunder, our tour guide. He is always thinking of our safety, our well being and checking on us! He is honest and we all liked him. I wish all tour guides are like him. If I go on a tour again, I will hire Arctic adventure. They deliver what they say they will. There was only an instance that got us really upset, but it wasn't their fault. It's a company they hired for our boat tour on the first night of our stay. And I will never put it against them! Thank you Arctic Adventure, you are the best!! :-) Robert& Tess Fitzpatrick

The experience was fantastic. It was a great way to get acquainted with Iceland. Our guide Petur is an expert on the country, its history and all of the sites that you are seeing. He genuinely enjoyed sharing his country with our tour group. The accommodations were nice, clean and comfortable. The trip exceeded my expectations!
