Canada And USA Coach / Bus Tour Reviews
- Eastern USA & Canada Escape (16 destinations)
Our 22 days exploring Europe with our wonderful guide Karina exceeded all our expectations. Her fun loving nature and energy rubbed off on the group and we made many life long friends from around the world. We saw so much and experienced so many things in such a short time it was mind blowing. Mark drove us around in our comfortable coach with plenty of skill he took a lot of the stress away that we would have had doing it on our own. Hotels were very good. You do need to be fit physically and mentally to make the most out of it and the optional extras were well priced and worth doing. We will certainly travel with Expat again great value and very professional.
- Indulgence in Eastern Canada (Small Groups)
This itinerary surprised me. I had been to Toronto before and had enjoyed the falls, the food and the hockey however the surprise to me were the other cities. Ottawa had lots to offer as it was the capital / head of the parliament and the architecture was stunning along with the Fairmont Hotels which become a feature of this itinerary throughout, especially the famous Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City. What I enjoyed the most were the French influences in Quebec City and Montreal, at times much more European than Canadian. The food throughout was superb with many choices so make sure you enjoy the fresh Canadian air and walk lots! thanks Luxury Gold - next stop Japan.
- Eastern US & Canada Grand Vacation
Compared with some tours I have been on this tour was magic The places visited the Autumn colour and the great local guides driver and Director made it a success There was no friction with the driver or directors not even between passengers.
What our customers ask about Bus Tours in Canada and USA
What are the key attractions covered on most bus tours in Canada and USA?
These cross-border tours weave together North America's most compelling sights. Travelers experience the raw power of Niagara Falls from the Hornblower Cruise the ornate interiors of Montreal's Notre-Dame Basilica and the historic grandeur of Quebec City's Château Frontenac. The U.S. portion delivers urban energy through New York's Times Square Washington DC's monument-lined National Mall and Boston's historic Freedom Trail. Nature-focused stops include the Thousand Islands cruise near Kingston while city tours showcase Ottawa's stately Parliament Buildings. A recent TourRadar traveler on Trafalgar's Eastern Canada tour noted: "The variety of experiences was amazing - from the thundering Niagara Falls to the European charm of Quebec City and the modern buzz of Toronto staying at the iconic Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal."
How much free time do I have to explore independently on a coach tour in Canada and USA?
These tours strike a practical balance between structured activities and personal exploration. Most itineraries allow 2-4 hours of independent discovery in major cities during daylight hours plus free evenings after 6pm. Toronto offers afternoon flexibility to visit the CN Tower or wander the Underground City while Quebec City's evenings invite casual strolls through Old Town's dining scene. A Globus tour review states: "The mix of structured tours and free time was perfect - we had enough time to explore Montreal's charming neighborhoods on our own after the morning city tour staying at excellent locations like the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac which made independent exploration easy."

Multi-night stays feature prominently with 2-3 nights in major cities at properties like Toronto's Chelsea Hotel or Montreal's Le Centre Sheraton. According to a TourRadar traveler from Omega Tours: "The pace was comfortable with well-timed stops. Having multiple nights in major cities gave us time to really experience each destination without feeling rushed."

Strategic hotel selections enhance the visual experience with properties like the Hilton Niagara Falls offering waterfall views and the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac overlooking the St. Lawrence River.
