What people love about Active Tours in Brazil
- 9 Days in Rio de Janeiro and Manaus
Go take this tour as you would make most of the 9 days designated for this tour. Also, you would enjoy two (in my opinion) of the most interesting areas of Brazil, the total opposites so you could get a feel of the vastness and diversity of this country. In addition, if possible, ask for Ludianys Chirinos of Tangol Tours to be your communication person because she is a real gem, a darling who would help you with any inconvenience before, during or even after the tour (I am saying this from my experience). She is an efficient and most kind person, a real professional who makes things done no matter what. Both Tangol Tours and TourRadar should be happy to have her as an employee.
- Rio de Janeiro Carnival Experience
We had some excellent guides, both from G Adventures and from Be A Local. They got us to all the sights and parties in Rio efficiently and safely.
- Iguassu & Beyond
Great places, very fun group, great guide!!
What our customers ask about Adventure Tours & Trips in Brazil
When is the best time to go on an Adventure tour in Brazil?
Brazil's adventure season peaks during different months depending on the region. The Pantanal wetlands shine from July to October with wildlife viewing at its best offering a 90% chance to spot jaguars. Amazon adventures work well during the dry season from July to November when trails are more accessible and hiking conditions are favorable. The Rio de Janeiro area welcomes outdoor enthusiasts year-round. A TourRadar traveler noted about their Pantanal experience: "We were able to observe a large number of animals of different species we were lucky to see some that are very difficult to find."
What different Adventure itineraries are available in Brazil?
Brazil's adventure offerings span from quick 2-day excursions to extensive 14-day journeys. The options include Amazon expeditions from Manaus where visitors try piranha fishing and night wildlife spotting. A TourRadar traveler shared: "The 4-day Amazon tour was perfect - we did jungle treks night safaris and visited local communities. Nelson our guide went above and beyond."
What's the best way to combine different Adventure experiences in Brazil?
Multi-destination tours effectively link Brazil's varied landscapes. A common approach pairs 4 days in the Amazon with time exploring Rio's surroundings or hiking Ilha Grande's paths. A TourRadar reviewer recommended: "We did the Amazon first then headed to the coast - perfect combination of jungle adventure and beach relaxation with great hiking opportunities in both locations."
