What people love about Coach / Bus Tours from Paris
- European Highlights (Start Paris, Classic)
Judith was a great tour guide. She was friendly and apart of the group whilst also being able to effectively manage the group and hold her authority in a respective manner. She had great knowledge about each city we went to, with advise on both touristy activities and lesser known places to see. She directly made the entire tour more enjoyable.
- Highlights of France
Wonderful tour of France! We saw and did SO much in those 13 days! I enjoyed every day, but especially Nice, Lourdes, Bordeaux wine tasting, Mont St. Michel, and Omaha Beach and the US cemetery there. The included meals could’ve been better. At times, only one choice was offered, so I’d choose the vegetarian option on nights where I didn’t like the meat choice! I wish we had more time at some of the stops, but I guess that’s a reason to go back! The hotels were all acceptable, but if you’re looking for more luxury, book Trafalgar! For the price, you can’t beat this tour! I had a wonderful experience and will definitely use Costsaver/Trafalgar again!
- Best of France
Guiviana tour director and Francis driver were sensational. Always professional but also part of the group. The tour was great value, I would do Trafalgar tour again if the opportunity arises.
What our customers ask about Coach / Bus Tours from Paris
What's the best time to take a bus tour from Paris?
Paris is most popular from May through September when the weather is nicest. June and July bring warm temperatures around 75°F (24°C) in Paris and 82°F (28°C) in Rome, but you'll find bigger crowds and higher prices. If you want a more relaxed experience with pleasant weather and fewer tourists, plan your trip for spring (April-May) or fall (September-October).
Which places do most bus tours from Paris typically visit?
Most tours from Paris take you to major European cities like Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Venice and Rome. You'll travel through France, Germany, Switzerland and Italy, often stopping in places like the Swiss Alps where you might stay at the Movenpick Airport Zurich. Many tours include a few nights in Rome at places like the Ergife Hotel.
How long are most bus tours that start in Paris?
Tours usually last between 9 and 23 days. Many people choose either the 13-day trips or longer 20-day adventures. One popular option is the "European Ring" - it's 23 days long and takes you to 26 different places. If you want something shorter, tours like "Wonderful France" last 9 days and include stays at hotels like the Courtyard Paris Porte de Versailles and Crowne Plaza Lyon.
What kind of hotels can I expect on Paris bus tours?
You'll stay in comfortable 3-4 star hotels that are easy to get to in each city. In Paris, this might mean the Novotel Est-Bagnolet or Courtyard Marriott Paris St Denis. When you get to Rome, you could stay at the Ergife or Midas hotels. According to travelers who've taken these tours, the hotels are nice but sometimes located a bit outside city centers.
How many hours will we spend on the bus each day?
On travel days, you'll usually spend between 3-6 hours on the road. Getting from Paris to Amsterdam takes about 6-7 hours including breaks, while shorter trips like Paris to Lyon are around 4-5 hours. Don't worry - the bus stops every 2-3 hours at rest areas so you can stretch your legs.
What meals come with Paris bus tours?
Your hotel breakfast is usually included every day, and some special dinners are part of the package too. You might get to enjoy a traditional French dinner in Paris's charming Montmartre neighborhood or try local specialties in Rome's Trastevere area. Travelers mention that lunch is on your own during free time, which lets you try local spots that interest you.
