What people love about Beach Tours from Bangkok
- Thai Intro 12 Day
Thaintro was one of the best tours I've bee done. It was nice to arrive in Thailand and everything is planned for you, so no need to worry or freak out! Our group leader Adam was awesome - always in a good mood, told us a lot about Thailand and everybody likes him - also if we are not sure about his dance moves ;)))) The accommodation was good in Bangkok and Koh Phi Phi, but unfortunately not so good in Koh Soak national park. It also depended on which bungalow you stayed in Koh Phangan - ours wasn't the best, but there were really nice ones. There are a lot of highlights included in the tour, e.g. the elephant experience or the Thai cooking class! Unfortunately we couldn't control the weather and had a lot of rain, so we had to cancel our boat trip.... Adam had a plan B for us, so it wasn't too bad ;) My personal highlight was the Songkran festival and the half moon party - just awesome. All together I would absolutely recommend to go on this trip. Everything is well organized and the people are awesome! Thanks for an amazing week, I really enjoyed it! Cheers
- Bangkok Basics & Krabi Beach Package, Small Group Tour
Overall good organized tour. Our tour guide Amin was really friendly and helpful! We booked for Christmas season and we couldn’t enjoy the monuments fully because of the crowds but we had some amazing photos in Bangkok. The trip to Krabi was also pleasant. I liked the resort more than the actual tours (again it was super crowded). The hotel staff was very kind both in Bangkok and Krabi. Safe locations and very central. I definitely recommend the tour if you want to combine beach and big city.

Taking this tour with Destination Services Thailand was a shear pleasure. The response time before and during our trip was phenomenal. Our request of having two single beds and German speaking tour guides throughout was met without any problems. One minor hiccup in Bangkok was remedied immediately after our arrival in Chiang Mai.(Our included transportation from the hotel to the airport in Bangkok didn't show up on time. Therefore, we had to take a taxi and paid ourselves for the fare. Upon our arrival in Chiang Mai, our local tour guide reimbursed us immediately). Again, excellent service! Except for this one, all the pick ups occurred on time. The included meals were always freshly prepared, delicious and plentiful and the hotels met the 4* standard. To sum it all up: my brother and I had a memorable, wonderful experience and would recommend Destination Services Thailand to anyone without hesitation. Thank you to all that contributed to our marvelous trip.
What our customers ask about Beach Tours from Bangkok
What are the best beach destinations to visit when starting from Bangkok?
From Bangkok, you can easily reach several amazing beaches. Koh Samui is perfect if you want upscale resorts, while Koh Phangan draws a younger crowd with its famous Full Moon parties. Phuket, Krabi, and Koh Tao each offer something different. One TourRadar traveler put it well: "the beaches of Phuket are among the most stunning in the world, with glistening white sand and turquoise water." You'll find good hotels across all price ranges - places like the Novotel in Koh Samui if you want to splurge a bit.
What's the average length of beach tours from Bangkok?
Most beach tours run between 8 and 21 days. The 9-day Thailand Escape and 16-day Incredible Thailand tour are really popular choices. You'll usually spend 2-3 nights checking out Bangkok before heading to the beaches like Phuket, Koh Samui, or Koh Phi Phi. As one TourRadar traveler mentioned, "this gives enough time to explore Bangkok's culture before relaxing at the beautiful beaches."
What's the best place to end a beach tour if I start in Bangkok?
Phuket and Koh Samui make the most sense as final stops since both have international airports. Phuket is great if you want to end your trip with some nightlife - check out beaches like Patong or Kata. If you prefer a more relaxed vibe, Koh Samui has beautiful spots like Chaweng and Lamai beaches. You can wrap up your stay at beachfront places like the Centara Coconut Beach Resort in Koh Samui or the Old Phuket Resort.
Where do beach tours typically start in Bangkok?
Tours often begin from hotels in three main areas. There's the Sukhumvit area, where you'll find the Nouvo City Hotel and Valia Hotel Bangkok. The Khao San Road neighborhood is popular with backpackers - the Chillax Resort is a common meeting point there. Or you might start from the Old City area near the Grand Palace. The True Siam Rangnam Hotel near Victory Monument is another regular starting point - it's easy to get to Bangkok's main sights from there.
What should I explore in Bangkok before heading to the beaches?
Take time to see the Grand Palace - it's really impressive. Don't miss Wat Pho temple with its huge reclining Buddha, and try to fit in a boat ride through the city's canals. The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and Railway Market give you a real taste of local life. One TourRadar traveler suggested: "Start with temples and cultural sites in Bangkok before hitting the beaches - it gives you a great mix of city and relaxation."
When is the best time for beach tours from Bangkok?
Plan your trip between November and April if you can. The weather is usually sunny and dry, with temperatures between 77-86°F (25-30°C). The water is calm and clear - perfect for swimming and boat trips. December and January have the best weather but also the biggest crowds. If you're looking to save money, try May through October. You might get some rain, but prices are lower and it rarely rains all day.
