Reviews of Small Group tours to Eastern Europe
- Classic Romania Tour (small group)
I went on the 8 day Classic Romanian Tour in June and had a great time in Romania. The service Rolandia provided was excellent. This include enquiry and booking the tour with Ms Ioana, and during the tour with Valentin as the guide. The tour was full of beautiful scenery, amazing buildings and historical sights - I really enjoyed my entire time. We had a small group travelling together so it is easy to accommodate everyone's need. Overall, I am glad I have chosen to travel Romania as it was really a beautiful and Rolandia have done an excellent job with this tour to showcase the country.
- Best of Central Europe
It was my very first Intrepid trip and I enjoyed every moment of it. It was more than I expected! I loved the chemistry of the group (I miss them dearly), the accommodation location as well as the included activities. Being in a small group also has a lot of advantages like getting to know each of them personally and build friendships even after the trip. I was just so glad I took the trip through Intrepid!
- Eastern Europe Explorer
Excellent tour! Got a taste of a lot of places (although it would be nice to spend a second night at some of the spots, just to get a real feel for the place), and had a variety of experiences. The night out in the village was one of the highlights; the ladies were awesome! Loved and hated the bear sanctuary, for reasons that hopefully are obvious; keep that on the tour for sure, and add the roller coaster type ride as a possible extra activity while you're there. Was not impressed with the walking tour guide in Plovdiv; finding a replacement wouldn't be a bad idea, if she's a regular for the tour. The first supper wasn't the best place to be, in my opinion, but the last one definitely made up for it. Casper.... is amazing. Totally Dutch; honest and helpful, practical and resourceful. Excellent leader, and always looking out for everyone. Awesome job.
