  • Day 1

    Santorini - Ios

    Meet at Athinios Port in Santorini around 1 PM. "Make sure to arrive at least a day early to explore Santorini's caldera rim from Fira to Oia – the sunset views are incredible!" After meeting your group, you'll have a 2-hour sail to Ios. Spend your first evening checking out the port's beach bars and tavernas.

    Amorgos and Small Cyclades

    Head to the rugged island of Amorgos, where "The Big Blue" was filmed. Stop for a swim at Paradisi Beach before docking at Katapola port. Check out the 11th-century Moni Hozoviotissis monastery but wear solid shoes since the path gets slippery.     Naxos

    Mykonos

    Sifnos

    Visit Sifnos, known for its ceramics and clean beaches. Go swimming at the main port of Kamares. Walk up to Kastro fortress for great views but plan for early morning or late afternoon to stay cool. Stop by local pottery workshops in Apollonia village.

    Folegandros

    Sail to quiet Folegandros. Walk from Karavostasis port up to Hora, one of the oldest villages in the Cyclades. "The climb to Panagia Church for sunset is steep but worth it – bring water and a camera," one traveler notes.

  • Day 1

    Santorini

    Ios, Small Cyclades & Naxos

    Head to Ios and visit the beautiful Manganari Beach. Your route through the Small Cyclades will depend on weather and wind conditions. When you reach Naxos take the local bus for just €2 each way to explore on your own instead of booking expensive tours. Get to the Temple of Dimitra early to beat the crowds.

    Mykonos

    Sail to Mykonos and plan to arrive early afternoon. Visit Little Venice first to get photos before it gets busy with tourists. A helpful tip from an experienced sailor: "The waters between Naxos and Mykonos can get choppy – take motion sickness pills if you're prone to seasickness, especially during the 4-hour crossing."

    Syros & Paros

    Visit Syros's local markets early when the produce is fresh. The Venetian ruins in Paros are best seen in late afternoon light for photos.     Sifnos & Folegandros

    Return to Santorini

    The final sail back to Santorini takes 3-4 hours depending on the winds. Boats usually arrive early afternoon, so schedule flights after 2 PM. Consider staying an extra night to properly see Santorini.
