What people love about Danube River Cruises in September
- The Legendary Danube 2026
Last year my mom and I did the Capitals of Central Europe which was Prague to Budapest. Absolutely incredible. I'd do the exact same itinerary in a heartbeat. The whole ship experience was fantastic and the history and things we saw...out of this world. I'm a travel agent and I recommend Avalon above all other river cruise companies. I sell them with full confidence!
- Danube Classics Vienna 2026
The cruise was excellent in most aspects, especially the crew, who were absolutely lovely and extremely hardworking. Our ship, the Arosa Donna, was very smart and clean with adequate space in the lower deck cabin we occupied, but let down by the loud noises when going through the numerous locks. We found the food, which was prepared and cooked with care, a real treat at every mealtime and so too were the drinks - we enjoyed the water, wine, beer and the really good coffee! We enjoyed the time on and off the ship and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy the scenery and see a little of Vienna, Budapest and Bratislava, as well as the delightful little town of Engelhartszell. In addition, we enjoyed the Wachau day trip. Thank you very much to Sabrina and all the other staff on board, who always did their very best to ensure everyone was able to make the best of their time on the cruise.
- 8 days - Imperial Danube (Passau - Vienna - Passau) MS VISTA MILLA 4*)
This was our first river cruise and we really enjoyed it. Cannot wait to go on another one with Crusemundo.
