- Amanda· October 10th, 2024Great tour with a very knowledgeable guide! Stephanie had lots of local insight and did an excellent job pointing us to the most worthwhile sights and experiences. The tour hit some great highlights of Western and central Ireland. I do wish we’d had a few more hours to explore Galway. We were there 2 nights but got back too late to do much.Show moreTrip date: October 2024
- KLkenneth· October 7th, 2024Took a 3 day tour with Rabbie's (via Tour Radar) in Ireland. Our driver Stephanie was awesome. Even with 16 people, it felt like an intimate tour. Stephanie was extremely personable and knowledgeable about everywhere we went. Definitely highly recommended. Thank you for the memories.Show moreTrip date: September 2024

- HBHeather· May 27th, 2024not impressed. ireland is beautiful but we didn’t stop most places long enough to actually appreciate them, and the tour had some big flaws. the tour guide has a microphone to tour us, but he also used his platform to complain about traffic and politics. he was generally friendly and accommodating. the tour bus microphone was horribly hooked up so that it would randomly scream and fuzz in the middle of a silent peaceful bus ride, jolting us all. eventually i asked the driver to turn it off which was a significant improvement. one female driver of another vehicle didn’t pull over fast enough for our drivers liking, and he made a disparaging comment about female drivers. this was rude and insulting. i expect my sex to be respected equally. there are many tourist drivers, and indeed many societal reasons that women statistically are worse drivers, including people making rude comments like these that impact their confidence and willingness to practice driving. see the below on stereotypes. the driver also made a comment that men belong in the pub and women belong (i forget where), which is based on sexist stereotyping. sexist comments and stereotypes in general cause people to feel uncomfortable and out of place, and often leads them to modify their behaviour to fit the stereotype, even subconsciously. our driver got lost for 45 minutes at the end of a very long day. we were all tired and hungry and frustrated. he did not admit that he was lost or accept help navigating, which could have sped us up. this was extremely frustrating. our group was also confused why we were all booked in different hotels, as many of us has booked through the same services. it was a waste of time to drive around dropping everyone off and collecting them all again every day. we should either stay in the same place, or for people who want to get their own hotel, they should have a drop off point.Show moreRabbie’s Small Group Tours commented on this reviewHello Heather, Many thanks for sharing your feedback. I am sorry to hear about your experience on tour with us. This does not sound like the usual standard we deliver to our customers. We expect all of our driver-guides to treat everyone equally, and... - AAnonymous· April 10th, 2024This was our first tour with Rabbies and we had an excellent experience with the tour. Our tour guide, Dan was exceptional. Dan was not only kind, good humored and accommodating, but has an incredible wealth of knowledge. His thoroughness of the Irish Gaelic language and history helped bring Ireland’s beauty, people and history to life. He is a great professional but very, very pleasant as well. He ensured that his customers were well taken care and comfortable. He explained every site with great depth of knowledge and patience. My husband and I consider ourselves lucky to have Dan as our tour guide. It was not only our experience but the other members of the tour conveyed the same sentiments as well. I would definitely consider Rabbies for our future tours and would surely refer friends and family to Rabbies for their travel needs especially Dan as their tour guide in Ireland. We have booked two additional tours with Rabbies on our travel to Scotland. Thank you very much, Dan and Rabbies for making our trip to Ireland an enjoyable one.Show moreTrip date: April 2024
- Veronika· October 11th, 2023I had a blast on this tour! It had a sweet mix of Irish towns, culture, and some seriously breathtaking nature. Stephanie, our guide, was awesome - she had all the inside knowledge at every spot, making the trip super fun. This was my first time on a tour like this, but I'm definitely down for more in different places!Show moreTrip date: October 2023
- MEMaria Luisa· August 20th, 2023We enjoyed visiting the west of Ireland, Stephanie was an expert driver and an entertaining guide. Travelling in a small group of 10 people grave us the opportunity to make great friends.Show moreTrip date: August 2023
- Lindsey· July 2nd, 2023Absolutely phenomenal. I know Tom isn’t a regular guide but he should be. He made the trip! This trip includes a good mix of activities and was great for a small group. I may suggest leaving out some of the more repetitive activities to spend longer at certain places. Would definitely do another tour with this company.Show moreTrip date: May 2023
- EPElizabeth· June 4th, 2023We had an amazing time on our tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable and made the experience very personal. She was an amazing source of information and very personable. I loved that this tour took us to some of the main attractions in Western Ireland, but also explored some smaller off-the-beaten-track locations that we never would've found on our own. Since we had a smaller tour group, our guide was very flexible with our trip and even added on some fun stops. To anyone taking this tour in the spring or early summer, I would definitely recommend asking to visit the sheep farm! It was one of the best parts of the tour, and it wasn't even on the original itinerary. The Bed and Breakfast where we stayed in Galway was cleaner than any hotel I've ever stayed at. The breakfast was delicious and it was a very comfortable stay. My one complaint has to do with the logistics of the tour itself. I loved that the entrance fee to the Cliffs of Moher were included, but that was the only one. I don't mind paying for the spur of the moment attractions, but I wish some of the bigger visits could've been included in the price of the tour. For example, entrance fees to the castles, sheep farm, museums were all things that we decided to do (or not) as a tour group so those should be pay as you go. I think the Cliffs of Moher, Kylemore Abbey, Clonmacnoise and Killbeggin's/Locke's Distillery should be added to the tour price to make things easier and less stressful. I know it's difficult to preschedule the Distillery tour, but the lack of prepurchased tickets resulted in our tour not being able to tour the distillery. Since that was one of the things I was most looking forward to, I was a definitely disappointed. I would like to point out that our tour guide did everything she possibly could to try and get us a spot on the tour, but there just wasn't any availability. Overall, this was an amazing tour and offered an amazing exploration of the West Coast of Ireland. I would definitely recommend this tour in the future!!Show moreTrip date: April 2023

Asked on April 25th, 2024Please tell me name of hotel if we upgrade and cost. Also names of bandb's.
- Rabbie’s Small Group ToursOperator•Written April 2024
We have a number of different accommodation suppliers in Galway and we book for you depending on availability and price. We can book you a Bed & Breakfast (B&B) or a Hotel for this tour depending on your preferences. The Hotel option is slightly more expensive. B&Bs: Ashgrove B&B, Consilio, Desota House B&B. Hotels: Western Hotel, Victoria Hotel, Jury's Inn Glaway. The cost for a double/twin room in a B&B would be €672 per person, and a double/twin room in a Hotel would be €726 per person. We also offer seasonal pricing so this is the cost based on a departure in May. June-September is our 'High Season' so it is more expensive.
