Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Imlil
Head out from Marrakech around 9am and drive through Moulay Brahim Gorges toward Imlil in the Western High Atlas. Once you arrive, meet your local guide and settle in with mint tea in the village. Then you'll trek about 4km south, walking through Berber hamlets on your way to Aroumd village. Along the route you'll see terrace fields and walnut groves, which give a real sense of how people farm in these mountains. After that, continue to Achayn where you'll have lunch with a Berber family and get to know their way of life. Later you'll head back to Imlil and drive the scenic route back to Marrakech.
