So well organised with a multitude of onshore activities and onboard relaxation. Scrumptious food and bottomless drinks. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and courteous. My husband and I were very happy with the staff, the cruise itself and the places we visited. It was relaxing and informative. The food was wonderful and varied and well presented. We did not have to do anything, the staff greeted us on arrival and took our bags to the cabin, and took our bags to the taxi on departure. We had a great time.Show more
- Werner· October 19th, 2024Route good. Excursions OK. MS Douce France very well maintained for its age. Unfortunately, many windows in the lounge and cabins are frosted and prevent a good view. Great cuisine, varied and very tasty and beautifully presented! 1++!!! Table drinks also excellent. Staff super friendly and competent!Show more

The operator has advised that it would be possible for the second passenger to board the ship on Day 4 in Wittenberg - in the morning. However, river cruise schedules are always subject to change due to the weather, water levels, etc.

Your chances of getting motion sickness on river cruises is much smaller because there's less motion. On the rivers, you're not dealing with ocean waves and currents. But for most rivers in the US and Europe, the motion felt on the boats is significantly reduced.

Cabin category A on the Main Deck is completely sold out. We have quoted pricing in cabin category B on the main deck. The price is USD $2202 for 1 traveller in a 1 x 2 adjustable Twin Beds Cabin Category B(14 m², high opening window) located on the main deck onboard the MS Elbe Princesse departing on 20 Dec, 2022.
