Both were entertaining, informative, fun, and extremely helpful at all times- we highly recommend Saylom (Laos) and Hung (Vietnam).The fast-paced itinerary required some hours on the road, which was a good opportunity to rest and to enjoy the spectacular scenery. The hotels were of excellent quality- and we loved the breakfasts at the majority of them. We also really enjoyed our like-minded fellow travelers on this tour. Asked on July 27th, 2023can i get a brochure for this trip we are a couple older than 65 but very mobile Is this trip for us?
On The Go ToursOperator•Written July 2023It is very common for participants of your demographic to join and thoroughly enjoy this tour. It is great to hear that you are very mobile, as this is a necessary pre-requisite for this tour. For example, there is one overnight train (can be upgraded to flight if needed) so you may need to climb a small ladder onto an upper bunk. General fitness eg, being able to lift your luggage, keep up with the group when on walking tours (slow pace) is really all that is required. If you are aged over 70 we would ask that you fill in a Tour Suitability Form, feel free to look at the questions that we ask as a guage of your suitability - mobility seems to be the biggest challenge for some of our participants, so I am sure you will be fine!

Asked on March 30th, 2022We are looking for a small group tour through Vietnam and Laos. A train trip within the tour would be great but not essential. We are looking at travelling the end of August please. We would like our flights to include premium economy or business class and the hotels 4+ please. Is this suitable for a 74yro who is not really active.

We also welcome travellers as young as 16 when accompanied by an adult and have no upper age limit, so we're a great choice for the young and the young at heart. On a typical tour departure, around 20% of the group will be aged under 35, with 25% aged 35-50, roughly 40% aged between 50 & 65 and finally 15% aged over 65. Whatever your age, you'll find a diverse mix of travellers across generations that all share a love of travel.
