Itinerary
- Day 1
Athens
You'll arrive in Athens and check into your hotel. Depending on when you land, there's time to wander around the city or grab a bite at a local taverna. Around 6pm you'll meet your tour leader and other travelers for the first time, followed by a welcome dinner at a nearby restaurant.

Landmarks/POIs Acropolis Hill - Day 2
Athens
After breakfast, join a guided walking tour through Athens, taking in the Acropolis ruins and the Acropolis Museum. You'll trace the city's history from classical times through to today. The afternoon is free for you to explore on your own, though your tour leader will have suggestions for places worth checking out.

Athens to Nafplio
Following breakfast, you'll head south toward Nafplio with several archaeological stops along the way. You'll see the Corinth Canal, walk through the ancient city of Corinth to view its Roman forum and temples, and visit Mycenae with its Bronze Age palace. By evening you'll arrive in Nafplio for the night.

Nafplio
This day focuses on two World Heritage sites. In the morning, you'll visit Ancient Tiryns, famous for its Cyclops-built walls and located just 10 minutes from Nafplio. After that, you'll drive to Ancient Epidaurus to see the Sanctuary of Asclepius and the well-known Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus. Back in Nafplio by evening, you can take a stroll through the old town's narrow alleys.

Nafplio to Mystras
Start with a morning visit to the Fortress of Palamidi on the hilltop overlooking Nafplio, where you'll learn about its Venetian and Turkish history. Later you'll transfer to the medieval town of Mystras and spend time walking through Byzantine churches from the 12th to 15th centuries, along with historic palaces and old urban buildings.

Mystras to Pylos
You'll spend the morning at Ancient Messene, one of Greece's best archaeological sites, where you can see the ancient theatre, agora, and well-preserved stadium and gymnasium complexes. After that, you'll head to the seaside town of Pylos and stop at the Castle of Pylos to check out its museum of underwater antiquities from shipwrecks found in the region.

Pylos to Olympia
You'll drive north to the Mycenaean Palace of Nestor, about 17km from Pylos. This palace features in Homer's Odyssey. From there it's approximately 2 hours to Olympia, where you'll explore Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the first Olympic Games. You'll see the Sanctuary of Zeus and walk through the athletic, administrative, and ceremonial buildings.

Olympia to Delphi
Today you're heading to Delphi, a drive of about 3.5 to 4 hours across from the Peloponnese to mainland Greece. Along the way, you'll see the Rio-Antirrio Bridge, a striking modern structure. After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll explore the Delphi archaeological site on foot, including the Temple of Apollo, ancient treasury buildings, theatre, and possibly the stadium.

Delphi to Athens
You'll have a more relaxed morning, then drive back toward Athens, approximately 2.5 hours. You'll stop in Arachova, a nice town on Mount Parnassos, to look around for local items or sit at a cafe. Next you'll go to Cape Sounio at the southern tip of Attica for lunch, then visit the 5th-century Temple of Poseidon for views across the Aegean Sea. Finally, you'll head to Athens International Airport.
