Avignon to Bedoin
You'll arrive at Avignon train station and get transferred to Bedoin, which sits right at the foot of Mont Ventoux. Once there, take some time to get your bearings and set up your bicycle at the hotel. It's a good chance to check your gear and get comfortable with everything before the riding starts.

Landmarks/POIs Mont Ventoux - Day 2
Bedoin
This morning you'll take a warm-up ride through the vineyards surrounding Ventoux and the Rhône valley. The route passes through several wine villages like Beaumes-de-Venise, Vacqueyras, and Gigondas as you loop through the Upper-Vaucluse region. By the end of the day you'll head back to Bedoin, so it's a nice introduction to the area without being too intense.

Bedoin
Today you pick your own adventure based on what sounds good. There's a 64 km loop with challenging climbs and descents around Mont Ventoux itself. Or try the 73 km route through the Gorges de la Nesque with the lavender fields near Sault. If you're feeling ambitious, the 89 km combination lets you do all of it. The choice depends on how you're feeling and what you want to see.

Landmarks/POIs Mont Ventoux Gorges de la Nesque Sault - Day 4
Bedoin to Gordes
You'll cycle from Bedoin heading toward Gordes, and the route takes you through Venasque, one of France's most beautiful villages. After that comes a final climb to reach Gordes itself, which sits perched on a hilltop with great views all around. It's a solid day of riding with a nice payoff at the end.

Landmarks/POIs Venasque Gordes - Day 5
Gordes
This is a loop ride through Luberon natural park where you'll spend time riding through large forests with really nice viewpoints. Along the way you'll pass through several perched villages including Bonnieux, Lacoste, and Mérèbes. It's a good day to take in the landscape and the character of these hillside towns.

Gordes
Another choice day where you can go with a moderate 62 km route through the ochre-colored landscape around Roussillon and Apt, complete with scenic cliffs and canyons. Or take the shorter 40 km ride to Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and visit the Fontaine-de-Vaucluse spring, which is refreshing and pretty. If you time it right on a Sunday, you can catch the outdoor market and antique fair in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.

Gordes to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence
You'll cycle from Gordes to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, moving between regions and passing through Coustellet where there's a lavender museum if you want to stop. The route goes through Cavaillon, crosses the Durance river, and then climbs up into the Alpilles hills. Saint-Rémy-de-Provence sits at the heart of Provencal culture, so you'll end in a place with real character.
