- Day 1
Beaune
You'll arrive in Beaune, Burgundy's wine capital, with the afternoon and evening ahead of you. Take some time to wander through the city center and check out the Hotel Dieu, also called the Hospices de Beaune, which is the main draw for most visitors. The building itself is quite striking with its colorful tile roof and courtyard. In the evening, your guide will meet you for an orientation session to go over what's coming up in the next few days.

The route takes you back to Beaune by the end of the day. You'll have chances to stop at local wineries, taste different wines, and pick up a bottle or two if something catches your interest. One of the highlights is visiting Clos Vougeot, a large historic vineyard that produces some of Burgundy's Grand Cru wines.
