- Robert· June 1st, 2023The tour, the tour director, and the hotels were excellent. However, we will NEVER use Tourradar again due to the misinformation that you gave us prior to our trip. Examples: First, we were told that we could not bring a second piece of luggage without paying an extra daily fee- and that the carry on had to be no bigger than 12x11x6. We worked very hard to comply with that strict standard. So, imagine our surprise and anger when EVERY other tour member had a large checked suitcase, a standard carry on suitcase with wheels, and a personal bag much larger than those measurements! Secondly, we asked 3 times (April 24, 25, 27) if we would be flying on Aerolineas Air during our trip. Three times we were either just quoted the paragraph from the brochure that said, "if you fly on Aerolineas Air..." or outright told that we would not. So, we were pretty angry when we did in-fact fly on Aerolineas Air. So we had to pay the extra weight fee. (If we had been allowed to divide our luggage between our large suitcase and a carry on, we would not have been over their 17kg limit.) Lastly, your brochure said that there would be headsets throughout the tour. Turns out there was not one headset an ANY tour. Many times, especially when we were on a busy street, we could not hear a thing that the tour guide told us. We paid a lot of money to learn what we could about these places that we would never visit again, so we were really cheated out of what we paid for.Show more

Asked on February 17th, 2023I am interested in the Brazil, Argentina, Santiago trip for myself, three sons ( 18,23,26) and my sister. I have never travelled with your radar before. Can you explain how it works with hotel accommodation, whether there are any aw limits and what kinds of people you usually get on the group. Finally we are thinking of bolting on a couple days at the beginning - is there anything you would suggest doing. We like action and adventure, culture and history and are sociable !

You can also have 2 Double Rooms and 1 Single room. A single room would be an additional CAD $1,295.00. An example of the hotels will be as follows: Sheraton Rio Hotel And Towers - Rio de Janeiro, Bourbon Cataratas Hotel - Iguassu Falls, Hilton Buenos Aires, Hyatt Centric Las Condes Santiago. You will be in Rio de Janeiro for the first days and there are ENDLESS activities to do! On day three you have a Free day to do as you wish!

Also as I have never been on a tour radar tour before can you give me an idea of the age ranges you usually have on the tour ? Which nationalities use Tour Radar ? We would be flying from London - is there a route or airline you would recommend ? And what time would we need to arrive to start tour ? Can you arrange flights for us or is this up to us to get sorted. Is Tour Radar ATOL protected if anything was to go wrong ?

That is correct, there are no age restrictions on this tour. Most travelers are going to be from North America, the UK, or Australia. When booking via TourRadar, you are protected by both TourRadar and the tour operator, Globus. When it comes to flights, we always recommend booking them yourself if possible.
