Arrival in Cancun
You're landing at Cancun Airport today. From there, you'll sort out your own transfer into Cancun Centre to kick off your Central America trip.

Cancun to Playa del Carmen
After you get settled, head out to Isla Mujeres for a laid-back beach day on the island. Later you'll return to Cancun, then continue south to Playa del Carmen for the night.

Playa del Carmen
Spend the day checking out Playa del Carmen, one of the top spots along the Riviera Maya. You'll have time on the beach and can walk through the shops and restaurants with other travelers.

Playa del Carmen to Tulum
The morning is yours to relax on Playa del Carmen Beach. In the afternoon, you'll board a coach bus heading south for about an hour to reach Tulum Beach.

Tulum
Catch the sunrise from Tulum's beach on the Riviera Maya. You can relax on the sand, go swimming, check out a cenote, or visit the Mayan Ruins with your included guide.

Tulum to Chetumal
After breakfast at Tulum Beach, you'll board a tourist-class bus heading south to Chetumal. You'll spend the night there before crossing into Belize the next day.

Chetumal to Caye Caulker, Belize
After breakfast, grab a taxi from Chetumal to the Mexico-Belize border for customs. Once through, you'll take a taxi to Corozal Town, then local transport to Belize City (about 4 hours, roughly $10 USD). From there, another taxi to Water Taxi San Pedro Express and you'll board a boat to Caye Caulker.

Caye Caulker
You'll wake up on Caye Caulker island. The day is for relaxing on the white sand beach and soaking in the laid-back island vibe.

Landmarks/POIs Caye Caulker Beach - Day 9
Caye Caulker to Flores, Guatemala
Early morning boat ride takes you from Caye Caulker back to Belize City. Right after arriving, you'll catch a shared van heading to Flores Island in Guatemala.

- Day 10
Tikal National Park
Your guide meets you at Flores Hostel at 4:30 am for an early transfer to Tikal National Park. You'll do a half-day tour of this Mayan site with your guide included. By afternoon you're back in Flores with free time to walk around the island.

Flores to Lanquin
Your local partner meets you at 8 am for an 8-hour shared van ride to Lanquin village. The van fits 10 people and travels through the Guatemalan highlands.

Semuc Champey
At 9 am, you board a truck from Lanquin to Semuc Champey National Park. You'll descend about 1000 meters into Kanba Cave to experience the darkness. Later, soak in the clear waters of the natural pools before heading back to Lanquin.

Lanquin to Antigua
Your local partner picks you up at 8 am from Lanquin for an 8-hour drive to Antigua. You'll settle into this historic UNESCO World Heritage city for the night.

Landmarks/POIs Antigua - Day 14
Antigua to Lake Atitlan
At 8 am, your partner picks you up from Antigua for a 3-hour drive to Chichicastenango Market. You'll spend 3 hours exploring this colorful indigenous market, then continue driving to Panajachel on Lake Atitlan for the night.

Landmarks/POIs Chichicastenango Market Lake Atitlan - Day 15
Lake Atitlan to Guatemala City
At 9 am, you take a boat to explore Lake Atitlan at your own pace, checking out the volcanic landscape and indigenous villages. At 4 pm, you board a shared van with 15 people for the trip to Guatemala City where your trip ends.

- Day 16
Pacaya Volcano Trek
Your partner picks you up from Antigua and transfers you to Pacaya base. You'll hike up the volcano for 2 hours, seeing the dry lava and steam from the crater. The hike down takes another 2 hours and you'll have views from the top.
