- Day 1
Cape Town - Robben Island
Your day centers on getting out to Robben Island, one of Cape Town's key historical sites. A vehicle picks you up from your hotel and takes you to the ferry terminal, where you'll head across the water to the island itself. Once there, a guide walks you through the main landmarks and museums that tell the story of the island's past as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The whole experience takes the full day, so plan to return to your hotel by evening.

Cape Town to Aquila Safari Game Reserve
Start early at 07:00 when your vehicle picks you up for the drive to Aquila Game Reserve. You'll travel through wine country and the Klein Karoo region, which takes a few hours to reach. After arriving, you'll have welcome drinks to settle in, then spend time by the pool before lunch outdoors. Later in the afternoon, head out on a game drive as the sun starts to lower, giving you a chance to spot big cats when they're most active. You'll stay overnight at the reserve and leave the following day around 18:00 for the return trip.

- Day 3
Cape Town to Hermanus - Whale Watching
This full day takes you along the Whale Route with stops at Gordon's Bay, Pringle Bay, and Betty's Bay as you move through the region. You'll walk through Harold Porter Botanical Gardens and drive the grounds of Hamilton Russell Wine Estate to get a feel for the area's wine production. By midday, you'll reach Hermanus where you can watch whales from the shore, and if you're interested, you have the option to take a boat trip out on the water for a closer look. Before heading back, stop for wine tasting at Benguela Cove and then your driver returns you to your hotel.
