Itinerary
- Day 1
Safari Happy Day
You'll depart for the wine region and Klein Karoo, driving through Ceres with its fruit farms along the way. After arriving at Aquila Game Reserve, you'll have welcome drinks to settle in. Then it's time for a two-hour game drive in an open-air 4x4 where you might spot the Big Five and other wildlife roaming the reserve. Around lunch time, you'll break to eat under the shade of trees or at the boma-style restaurant. The afternoon is yours to relax by the pool if it's summer, or by the fireplace during winter months.

- Day 2
Touws River
This morning you'll have a full breakfast at your own pace without rushing. After that, you can structure your morning however you'd like before heading out for a game drive in an open-top 4x4. Depending on timing and what the game rangers decide, you might get to walk with giraffes. Lunch happens under the shade of trees or at the boma-style restaurant. Later in the day, you'll drive back toward Cape Town, passing through the Huguenot Tunnel on your return journey.

- Day 3
Cape Peninsula
You're spending the full day exploring Cape Peninsula and taking in the coastline. The route includes the Blue Flag beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay on the Atlantic Seaboard, then moves to Hout Bay where you can see fresh seafood options and local markets. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is on the agenda, and from there you'll head to Simon's Town to visit the Penguin Colony. If you're interested, there's an option to go out to Seal Island to see thousands of seals. Throughout the day you'll see where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet at Cape Point.
