Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Your guide picks you up at the airport and walks through what to expect during your safari. After heading to the Equator for photos and learning about the hemispheres, you'll drive through plantations with pineapples and bananas stretching across the landscape. Once you check in and have lunch, you're ready for your first safari at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a major wildlife protection area where you'll start spotting animals.

- Day 2
Ol Pejeta Conservancy
You spend the full day at Ol Pejeta, seeing the conservation work happening there. The main focus is visiting the guarded enclosure where Najin and Fatu live, the last two northern white rhinos in existence. Your guide explains the high-tech IVF efforts underway to try saving the species, giving you a sense of what's at stake and how this facility works to prevent extinction.

- Day 3
Ol Pejeta to Aberdare National Park
After breakfast, you drive toward central Kenya and head into Aberdare National Park near Mt. Kenya. The landscape shifts as you climb into a misty rainforest with old trees and waterfalls. By evening, you settle into your tree hotel (either The Ark or Treetops) where you can watch from your balcony as nocturnal animals like buffalo, forest elephants, and sometimes bongo antelopes come to the moonlit waterhole and salt lick below.

Aberdare National Park to Nairobi
You finish breakfast and then drive back to Nairobi as your safari wraps up. Your driver gets you to the airport based on when your flight leaves. If there's time between checkout and departure, you have the option to grab lunch or visit a spa on your own dime for a bit of relaxation before heading home.
