Paris
Start the day walking through Paris's Latin Quarter near Notre-Dame Cathedral, where you'll get a real sense of the city's historic core. This day focuses on the Christmas markets at Jardin des Tuileries, where you'll find food stalls, handmade gifts, and crafts from local artisans. The markets have an ice rink set up for skating, plus a carousel and Ferris wheel if you want rides. Spend the morning and afternoon walking around, grabbing bites to eat, and picking up souvenirs. The festive setup really takes over the whole garden during the holiday season.
