Boston
This is a walking day focused on Boston's revolutionary history. You'll follow the Freedom Trail, which is a 4-kilometer red-brick path that connects all the major historical sites around the city. Along the way you'll see the Old North Church, Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere House, and the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum. You'll also spend time at Boston Common, which is the oldest public park in the nation and a nice place to catch your breath between stops.

Boston to Salem
You'll head out to Salem to learn about the witch trials and see the historical sites connected to that period. Start at the Salem Witch Museum to get context, then walk through the historic center to visit the Salem Witch Trials Memorial, Old Town Hall, The Witch House, and The House of the Seven Gables. Salem Witch Village is also there if you want to explore further. If you happen to be visiting around Halloween, the town does a significant transformation and the atmosphere is particularly intense.

Boston
Start in the morning by walking through the Back Bay neighborhood, where you can see Victorian architecture and grab breakfast at one of the cafés along Newbury Street. After that, head to Fenway Park to see the oldest baseball stadium still in use and learn about the Boston Red Sox. Later, make your way over to Cambridge to check out Harvard University's campus. Before you finish the day, you can swing by TD Garden, which is where the Bruins and Celtics play.
