- Day 1
Beijing
You'll get transferred to your hotel after landing in Beijing. Later in the evening, head out to Wangfujing Street where you can walk through shops and grab dinner at one of the many restaurants along this busy pedestrian area. It's a good first look at the city before heading back to rest.

- Day 2
Beijing
This is a full day covering Beijing's major sites. Start at the Forbidden City, the large imperial palace complex where 24 emperors ruled, then go to Jingshan Park and climb Coal Hill for views looking back at the Forbidden City. After that, walk through Tiananmen Square and see the Great National Theater. Grab lunch, then head to the Summer Palace with its gardens and lakes. Later you'll take a tricycle ride through the Hutong neighborhoods to see traditional courtyard houses and local shops. Return to your hotel by evening.

Travel to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall and take a cable car up to see this 2,000-year-old structure with mountain views around you. On the way back, stop at the 798 Art District, a former military factory now filled with galleries and studios. Then visit the Temple of Heaven, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. End with a foot massage and Tai Chi class to experience traditional practices, followed by dinner featuring lacquered duck.

Beijing to Seoul
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Seoul. Your guide meets you at arrival and takes you to the hotel. In the evening, learn how the Seoul subway works, then see City Hall's distinctive building and the lit Deoksugung Palace across the way. Walk through Myeongdong, the main shopping district, and have dinner at a local restaurant included with your tour.

Seoul
You'll spend five hours on a guided tour of Seoul. Start at Changdeokgung Palace, a UNESCO site with multiple palaces in a large park, then pass through Bukchon Hanok Village with its traditional homes. Visit the War Memorial of Korea to learn about Korean War history and UN involvement. After lunch, go to Gangnam District for shopping and see the 550-meter Lotte World Tower. You'll have free time to go up the tower or explore the surrounding malls and park before returning to your hotel.

- Day 7
Jeonju - Damyang - Haeinsa - Busan
Head to Sunchang Gochujang Village at Mount Amisan's base where you'll learn to make Korean chili paste with local artisans. Travel to Damyang and walk through the Juknokwon Bamboo Forest with its meditation paths, then see the Bamboo Museum. Have lunch with rice cooked inside bamboo stalks. Later, reach Haeinsa, an important Buddhist temple from 802 that holds 80,000 wooden tablets with Buddhist scriptures. Then drive to Busan for the night.

- Day 8
Busan
In the morning, go to Haedong Yonggung, a 14th-century Buddhist temple by the sea. Return to Busan and visit the UN Memorial Cemetery, then explore the large fish market near Nampo Port. After lunch, walk through Yongdusan Park with its 120-meter pagoda. Head to Songdo Beach to ride the country's first marine cable car (weather permitting) for bay views. End at Gamcheon Culture Village with its colorful buildings, alleyways, galleries, and cafes before returning to Busan.

Busan - Gyeongju - Daegu
Visit the Seokguram Buddhist Grotto from the 8th century on Tohamsan's slopes, then see Bulguksa Temple, one of Korea's most beautiful. Arrive in Gyeongju, the former capital for 992 years, and photograph the wooden Woljeonggyo Bridge. After lunch, explore Tumuli Park with 1,500-year-old burial mounds and visit a Silla Kingdom tomb. Walk to Cheomsongdae Astronomical Observatory, East Asia's oldest and a UNESCO site. Daegu - Andong - Hahoe - Seoul
Start exploring Daegu at the Yangnyeongsi Museum of Traditional Medicine, then walk through the surrounding Herbal Medicine Market with shops selling quality ginseng and other products. Head north to Andong and visit Hahoe, a rural UNESCO village that looks frozen in time. See the Hahoe Mask Museum with masks from dances and ceremonies. After lunch, visit Byeongsan Seowon, a 16th-century Confucian academy by a river. Arrive back in Seoul in the late afternoon and check into your hotel.

- Day 12
Tokyo
Spend the morning on a roughly five-hour guided tour through Tokyo. Stop at Zojoji Temple for views of Tokyo Tower, then experience the famous Shibuya Crossing. Visit Meiji Shrine, drive down elegant Omotesando Avenue, and see the Imperial Palace. Pass through Akihabara, the anime and manga district, then ride the elevator to Tokyo Skytree (included) for city views. Explore Asakusa and Sensoji Temple with its Nakamise Street. Tokyo to Kyoto
Take the bullet train early in the morning to Kyoto, covering nearly 500 km in just over two hours. Spend the day exploring Kyoto, Japan's former capital from 794 to 1868, which escaped bombing in World War II and preserves its artistic heritage. Visit Fushimi Inari Shrine, the Imperial Palace, and Kinkakuji Temple, known as the Golden Pavilion with surrounding gardens. Then enjoy free time to walk through Gion, the traditional district known for geishas and lively atmosphere.
