Tokyo
You'll arrive in Japan and clear customs before heading to your hotel on a shared shuttle bus. The afternoon is free to settle in and rest after your journey. Later you'll get details about when your tour begins.

Tokyo
Start with a five-hour guided tour through Tokyo covering several neighborhoods. You'll see Zojoji Temple with views of Tokyo Tower, cross Shibuya Crossing, walk through Meiji Shrine, stroll Omotesando Avenue, check out the Imperial Palace gardens, and visit Nijubashi Bridge. After exploring Akihabara's Electric City and heading up Tokyo Skytree for views, you'll visit Sensoji Temple and Nakamise Street in Asakusa. Return to your hotel, then meet your guide at 6:30 p.m. for a subway ride to Shinjuku. Walk through the district and have dinner at a local restaurant before heading back by subway.

Tokyo to Hiroshima
After breakfast, head to the station to catch the bullet train to Hiroshima, a four-hour journey covering 800 kilometers. Once there, explore Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome, then visit the Peace Memorial Museum to learn about this historically significant city. Take a ferry to Itsukushima Shrine, the iconic shrine built over the sea and dedicated to the guardian of the seas. You'll have time to explore the shrine and island center with lunch included. Return to Hiroshima for dinner.

Hiroshima to Matsuyama
Take a ferry to Shikoku Island for a two-and-a-half-hour journey. In Matsuyama, ride the cable car up to the castle, then visit Ishiteji, a Buddhist temple and popular pilgrimage site. Grab lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, head to Dogo Onsen, a traditional Japanese bathhouse built in the 19th century where you can soak and relax.

Travel to Kotohira to visit a Shinto shrine dedicated to the God of sailors, located on Mount Zosu and reached by climbing 785 steps. Next, head to Takamatsu to check out Ritsurin, one of Japan's finest gardens. Have lunch at a local restaurant. In Naruto, you'll stop at an impressive bridge over the sea with a glass floor where you can see powerful sea whirlpools from 45 meters above. Take a scenic route across bridges connecting islands over the water. End the day arriving in Kobe for the night.

Kobe to Mount Koya
In Kobe, visit the Earthquake Memorial Museum honoring the 1995 earthquake and the city's recovery. Head to Mount Koya, the most important center of Shingon Buddhism with 120 temples and monasteries. See the Okuno Mausoleum, a spiritual cemetery with over 200,000 graves set in nature, and visit Kongobuji Temple originally built in 1593. Mount Koya to Kyoto

You'll have free time to explore before visiting Gion, a bustling traditional district known for its Geisha culture, where you can soak in the unique atmosphere.

Then explore this city at your own pace before traveling to Nagano for the night.

Nagano to Ikaho

Sendai to Morioka
Head to Matsushima, located on the 'Thousand Islands' Bay in the Pacific Ocean and known as one of Japan's finest destinations.
